Another thought, how long will this magical occasion last? Because timing will be a key factor for us travellers.

And a bowling alley seems like a good idea, that way, we can drink, and people hwo can't can still have a good time.

Damnit why can't it be in the mid-lands!
I'm gathering everyone from the Midlands and organising our travel. Where in the Midlands are you?
Excellent, I live about 16 miles away from Leicester. Place called Braunston in Rutland.

Nice. 18th you say. I can probably swing that. London should be ok, though I'm in Cornwall, so it will take a while to get there. Sign me up!

People agreed upon it in a prior poll, and its far more accommodating for people in Europe (or if people fly in from Scotland/Ireland) who may want to join us. Plus why are you so mad. Its not even a 2 hour trip for you! :)

I have to travel at least 5 hours to get there. Still will be turning up :)

I go to college in Hinckley, not too far from Leicester. So what train station would you be using?

I request that both a still camera and a film camera are taken and employed. Oh, and that someone writes a recount afterwards. The internet is nosy and wants to know what the fuck you British get up to.

I think the cinema would be cool. As long as nobody is a fussy/negative bastard :)

Oh, and definitely a BBQ.

I've got a camera and can write up a recount afterwards. And seeing as you were good enough to do that about yours, we can do the same for ours.

New question. What station in London am I going to? I'm getting my train price.
Erm, not sure yet. But we'll probably all need Underground tickets for the day anyway.

For those interested in bowling theres a bowling alley in Park Royal, also I *think* there is one near Holborn thats like a bar/club thing with bowling alleys in it, but thats kind of prohibitive of the under 18s. Anyway I'm at uni in london so for those of you with questions I'd be happy to answer them.

I might not be able to make it along myself we'll see how it goes; going away after my finals!

Fantastic! I look forward to massive shenanigans.

Next, dates. I'm suggesting 18th July, then all the exams are definitely out of the way.
*Raises eyebrow* That's the date that my exams start what school/uni has all of their exams done by the middle of May? This sounds like something that I would really want to do but obviously my exams take priority as I'm half way through a degree at the moment. Oh well, the next meet I should be able to come to.

Okay, let's just pick a station, and put it on the OP.

Let's go to Kings Cross, that's large enough to have trains come from everywhere. We should all meet somewhere near Kings cross. Those of us getting trains will want off-peak tickets, that's departure before 9am, and returning after 5. It's like £100 cheaper that way. My train is priced at £44 return. A tube pass will be like a tenner or something, and any busses we might need I will hold back another tenner for. So that's like, £60 travel for me (two weeks college EMA, easy)

As for doing stuff, I'm gonna bring another £50, just to be on the safe side... London's extortionate.

I've gone off on a tangent here, shall we decide on meeting at Kings Cross, 1pm at the latest? I might work up a banner on Photoshop for you to shove on the OP.
