Before you tell me to delete this, it's useless and a waste of post, please, hear me out.

I went overseas, and fell in love with my friend. We'd had sereval relationships; but we were close.

To my other friends, while overseas, I faked having a crush on a boy; I only wanted my friend.

Then he told me, when we were dating, that'd he'd had sex while drunk.

I felt heartbroken; I'd felt like... he'd cheated on me, even if we weren't dating then.

I mean, what if he'd do it again?

But I love him, and care about him

Thank you for reading, and perhaps you can give me advice on what to do...

This seems suspiciously similar (albeit a role reversed) version of a thread I saw here about a week and a half ago...

I'm somewhat confused now.

You weren't dating, ergo he didn't cheat on you. At all.

If you actually began to date he probably wouldn't do it.

Openly state what are your real feelings. That's it.
Deception and half truths can't form a solid, healthy relationship.
And that's the bottom line.

Ahh, got it. This thread + that thread = same situation. Okay, now my head is clear. Cool.

Eh-hem.

While I admit that he could have come up with a better way to say what he did, what he did do would not (in m opinion) be considered cheating for various reasons:

1) It happened before you started dating
2) It was before he knew you had feelings for him

Looking at the guy's posts, I don't get the feeling that he's the type of scumbag ho would do that kind of thing while actively dating someone. Besides, as stated before, it happened in the past, and while you do have a right to complain about HOW he told you, you have no right to be upset about what someone did before they started dating you (unless the act is illegal, obviously).

That's just my two cents.
