... yes?

as long as people hate eachother for reasons of ethnicity or religion, they're going to want to wipe eachother out.

No.
I think the government/authorities would be onto anyone attempting it before enough harm to be counted as genocide can be done.

"As long as there's at least 2 people left on Earth, someone's gonna want someone else dead."

Incorrect. The kinds of people who are commiting genocide (like the psycho warlords in Africa) without a spec ops round promptly exiting their skull are the kind of people that someone more powerful finds handy to have around. Nestle and the Ivory coast are a good example, if there was decent government there Nestle would soon find themselves without a child slave labour force.

I'm pretty damn sure Genocide is already going on and will probably still be going on 20 years down the road. Its a sad truth really.

Yes.

There has been at least one in Africa within the last decade.
at least one is still ongoing. Sudan, I think.

OT:
Yes, humans are a violent race, we define our value through conflict, between individuals, between nations, and between races.

- Yes

There will always be someone who believes himself superior to those that he hates, and will take it upon himself to manifest that hatred into the deaths of many.

I thought there'd be something like that, just wanted to chip in something for the fella's report that isn't just "Yes".

My bad, I though I was just crushing some hopeful optimism.

unless aliens show up come in peace and we all hate them, it's still gonna happen, people always need someone to hate.

EDIT: also just adding to my point, willing to bet as you are reading this someone is suffering due to genocide.

While there may not be an actual genocide committed within the next 20 years, you can be pretty assured that some people out there will want to do it. People will always find new things to hate about each other and there will be some of those people that think the only way to deal with it is to murder everyone else.

Yes, due to a little thing I like to call the human condition. People will always try to wipe out another group of people.
