Back in the 90s I used to play this great game with my mate

All I can really remember is it was birds eye view (maybe slightly angled) cartridge game where you could run on foot, fly a helicopter with mounted guns and drive a jeep with guns also, it was kind of like jungle strike on snes but you could get out of the chopper and gun on foot

anyone got any ideas? I'm not sure on the console

Thank you

Also, I did come across a post titled 'old games you can't remember the name of' but it was huge and I'm doing this on my phone :)

Sounds like it could have been Cannon Fodder? It's been a long time since I played it and I mostly remember it as a squad of soldiers on foot but I think there were vehicles in the later levels.

Sorry for double posting, but it was kinda like the old gta style games ( like london) but set in a jungle type area. You could shoot buildings and tents and i remember bing able to fly the chopper to hidden places with a landing pad and some weapons

It was like the strike games (dessert, jungle and urban) but you could leave the chopper at will (aslong as there was a H pad) and roam on foot and tanks ect, it was quite open exploring from what I remember, and it had the same style graphics as gta london

It sounds a bit like one of the Silkworm or SWIV games, perhaps Super SWIV, Mega SWIV or SWIV 3D if it was on PC.

Right it's so annoying trying to remember this game.. But it's a platform game from the late 90's and its like where you gotta get past blocks and fly a jet pack and the character was yellow I think and you could also go into a edit mode where you cud build your own levels which was better than the game it'self.. Help any ideas ???

I used to play a strategy game on PC when I was younger. The only things that I remember about the game :
It was a top down game in which you controlled small creatures with a hand. You could pick those creatures and throw them into a round hole that they actually had to protect or something like that. In order for the small creatures to survive you had to make them build special areas in which chickens would grow and then the small creatures would eat them(i think). After a period of time in the gameplay the devil(it has horns) comes out and he tries to get to the center of the map(walking) in order to destroy that sacred place. Also, there are blocks of earth(like in minecraft) in which you can find gold or not. I don't remember exactly how that gold helps you but when you get the creatures to dig that block of earth they automatically create a path by jumping on the land. I also remember that you can build little pathways made out of wood over water. There is also lava in later levels.
