Plot holes in games and films (potential spoilers)

Well, I didn't mind Pinbacker, but what could have happened was:

1. the crew kill each other because threes is not enough oxygen
2. Searle goes crazy instead of Pinbacker
3. Corazon blows the airlock so they will have enough oxygen to deliver the payload and get back, the others find out and there is tension between crew members

Not necessarily better, just different.

I like the movie a lot, but it did have some plot holes. Like these:

They say they are running out of O2 but they have payload THE SIZE OF MANHATTAN filled with oxygen!

Not exactly a plot hole, but doesn't make sense:

Mace volunteers Capa for the dangerous job of fixing the shield. Then late,r he insists Capa take the only spacesuit to survive the airlock because Capa is the highest priority. If he is so important why did you volunteer him earlier, Mace? ALso, is Capa really the only one who knows how to operate the payload? It didn't look that complicated. ALl he did was put some wires in some holes. Couldn't he have found time to teach someone else because it is the single MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE MISSION!

In the last fight with Pinbacker, why is Cassie still alive? Why didn't he kill her already? Where was he hiding (not exactly many good hiding spots in the payload). He just comes out of nowhere and grabs Capa's neck. I like the alternate version of this scene much better. YOu can see it on the DVD.
