Not really, I mean, it's just a hunk of rock and ice.

Besides, with Pluto out of the way, we can make room for a more AWESOME planet (like a Death Star!)

I consider it to be one. I get sick of scientists trying to box everything into neat little categories.

I prefer to think of it as a planet.
that way it can become a Fortress-World instead of a Fortress-Dwarf/Midget/Whatever

what sounds more Deadly?
diving towards an armed and armoured planet?
or running at some midget wearing plate-mail with a couple of flint-locks?

Yes - and no, I will not go looking for your poll - if you wanted me to give a damn you would have given a link on THIS thread.

As Pluto is smaller than our own moon, let alone some of the moons of Jupiter and Saturn, and has a satellite which is almost the same size as it, I don't believe that it's valid to call it a planet, when that would mean that certain asteroids, such as Ceres, would officially count as planets as well.
But, since it doesn't orbit another planet, And orbits our sun, It is a planet. Not a moon, not a comet, It's in an orbit of the sun. Thus, planet.

I have always said it's a planet. I stand by the MVEMJSUNP formation of things. My child will fail school when he writes reports on the 9 planets of our solar system. I will tell him that his teacher is full of beans and garbage and that they will eat their dog food as they live in their false "eight planet solar system"
