Does anyone know any good video game or anime related podcasts that I can start listening to? Preferably ones that I can download on iTunes but if not, that's cool too.

Besides the one on this site I also listen to Feedback on G4tv and while I do believe that it is available on iTunes you would have to double check however I do know you can download the mp3 file from their websight
*Thats for gaming I don't know of any for anime*

If I knew what a podcast really entailed (I don't listen to them often) I'd probably try and start one for anime.

But as I do not... I will not.

Well, a podcast can either be video clips, or just audio clips. So all you would need to do is record yourself talking about a certain subject (probably in an entertaining way) and that's pretty much a podcast. Also really helps if you know what you're talking about. I've listened to some podcasts where the people sounded like they were reading off of Wikipedia.

They consist of video clips as well? Indeed. I thought they were merely audio. I have this whole idea of using my dressed up persona along with my wife as a jeopardy-esk show girl to review anime or something. I just still don't know how I want to do it, where I want to do it, or if the dressed up persona matched the subject I want to review.

Also, I planned to write something of a script and memorizing it so I didn't sound like a complete retard.

That actually sounds like it would be pretty cool. Also, a script would probably be a good idea. Better than just aimlessly rambling on. Make sure you let me know if you do start recording a podcast, and i'll make sure to listen to it.

If I ever get it off the ground, sure thing.

Anime World Order, ANNCast (Anime News Network), and The Nerdist are the podcasts I listen to most. AWO and ANN are informative and funny; AWO also reviews older anime titles on a regular basis which is cool. The Nerdist is great because it's Chris Hardwick, and he is hilarious. :)

Let me see, I kind of have a big list

Armchair Thinkers (The guys who do No Right Answer, Drinking Games)

Big Red Potion (Maybe On Hiatus)

Digital Cowboys (On Hiatus, There is a community cast though)

Electric Hydra

Gameburst (Great news show, plus a roundtable discussion and replay)

Gamerdork

Gamers With Jobs

Giant Bombcast

Joypod

Podtoid (Destuctoid's Podcast)

Some Other Podcast (In Hiatus)

I highly reccommend Digital Cowboys and Big Red Potion. They have really great indepth discussion about games.
