Never mind that 'Hitcher' is still on and involves stoving a hitchhiker's head in with a krooklok.
The Hell is a krooklok? Time to do some google searching.

Also, it's nice to hear other kinds of media getting blamed for violence instead of just video games and movies. Not to say that it isn't just as dumb, of course.

Does that mean that we ban all poems like Dulce Et Decorum Est because it makes people not want to go to war or Roger McGough's poems for inciting violence in school with teachers killing student for being late or having greasy hair?

That might make sense if that poem was being taught to 3rd graders, but considering the subject matter I'm guessing it's not. That would be a great poem for high school kids (and even middle schoolers) to learn and discuss. Hell, I took a creative writing class in high school and we were read a very good poem in which the speaker kills himself... It was sad but inspired a lot of thought.

Note: I mean the poem was very well written, not that it was good the speaker kills himself.

If I remembered correctly, every single book I read for my class were banned in US high school. Score one for international schools.
