Syberia and Syberia II. If you haven't played it, don't worry, it's gone under a lot of radars at its time for some reason, but play it now, it's really deserving. They're 2.5D point-and-click adventure games which are strikingly beautiful for the time they were developed in.
It's not too hard nor too complex in the puzzle section, but it's still enjoyable/gratifying and the music and the story are just wonderfully emotional, they're likely to make you cry at some points. Out of fear I'll grow a vagina explaining it further, suffice to say, any old lovers of adventure games should not let it pass unplayed, it is literally a gaming sin (to paraphrase Bob from his Boondock Saints review, I come to you with an aura not unlike that of Charlton Heston after conversing with combustible shrubbery
)
Some of the Broken Sword series (not sure which parts I played, likely 3 and 4, but can't say with certainty) also has a lot of good story telling and fun puzzles I quite enjoyed. If you're looking for something to play, give them a go as well, they're good, Syberia is just one (two) of those games that came after it's time that managed to preserve everything great about adventure games with the addition of new technology in the terms of graphics and music quality and just deliver it with amazing style.. the only complaint I've ever heard about it from gamers that like adventure games is that it's maybe a bit easy, but it's nothing that'll severely impact your enjoyment of the game.
