the recordings in bioshock. Most are not intergal to the storyline but tell the story of the city.

This, and the ones from Doom 3. Especially that guy that got trapped in Hell, wondering what happened to his colleagues.

Easter eggs and many different guns choices in a game like MW2. Also, I love it when a game can realistically represent the elements pike fire and water.
