Yes, I know, Pokémon Black and White are just released and deserve more attention that SS.
But I do have a question for you lot who did play it.

I'm trying to level some low level pokemon, my main pokemon are about level 55, and the 2 I want to train are level 30 ish.

But I have no idea where to do it.
There are no more trainers, and random fights offer so little exp.
I tried the Elite 4, but I can't seem to be beat them :(

Any advice?

The one use the phone has that actually helps is the battles it can set up. Aside from that, there won't be many good grind spots per se. You might try dumping your cash into healing items/vitamins/etc., then just going through the elite four over and over with an exp share until you get it.

Incidentally, what's your team look like?

Sometimes, the best bet in those games is to give your mom all your money and grind on the elite four.

It might suck, but its good xp when you can kill a bunch. Eventually you'll just get to a point where you can beat them.

Isn't there like a rematch device? The easiest way to grind in later pokemon games is to find an area with a large amount of trainers and rematch them repeatedly.

You can re-battle gym leaders.

Each one has specifics on how you meet/get their numbers for re-matches. I suggest looking through Bulbapedia.

For example, if you go to the Power Plant in Kanto on Friday morning, with a pikachu following you, and after you capture Zapdos, Lt. Surge will be there and will give you his number for rematches.

You can have rematches with him every friday morning. And you can do it as many times as you want within the same day.

Ok, if you have an exp share the four are the way to go. If not, just go for the rando battles. There is no easy or quick way to do this really. You could have one in your first slot in the elite four and just swap it out for the level 50.

Exp. Share, then Victory road. Thats how i always do it. Victory road is always on every game, with top level rock and fighting pokemon. Take a grass, water, or psychic, and grind. It really does work, i got my zangoose from level 27 to 60 in a few days grinding. I'm training Victini on Black atm using this method and its around 40ish.

Are you at Mount Silver yet? If so that's a good spot to grind them with, simply switch to your stronger Pokemon when your weaker ones are nearing the edge of their health. Or, you can simply pump all your cash at Celadon or Goldenrod into things like Zinc or Protein or whatever. I did that, and managed to beat Red (on Crystal, mind you) when my Pokemon were all around level 40-50. His were all level 70-80. And it wasn't even that tough (well, apart from Snorlax, but that's cause the bastard kept using Rest and Snore to heal itself...).

Aside from that, try some of the later areas in Johto like Dark Cave and the upper parts of that route (can't remember the number) near Blackthorn City. Or the areas of Kanto near Vermillion and Lavender, after you get off the SS Anne...

Try and find a lucky egg, it'll help you boost incoming XP on a Pokemon. That, or use the exp share. I realize randoms don't offer a lot of XP, but they're the only way to get more XP once all the trainers are down, besides the elite 4 + champion. If you have a spare DS and another pokemon game, you could trade the pokemon over to a different game for an additional boost. Victory road if you've not beaten the elite 4, Mt. Silver if you have. I like the suggestion of throwing your money into the MomFund and going for it anyway, you'll keep any exp earned.

I'm afraid my team lacks soemthing in the original factor.
As well as being a lot of flying

Lugia- lvl 55
Pupitar - lvl 30 (training)
Zapdos - lvl 52
Ho-oh - level 70
Dragonite - level 55
Jirachi - level 26 (training)

After level 70 try the Elite 4 a few times and if you still can't beat them, grind to about 85 and then retry.

For 50s-70s I recommend Mt. Silver.

For 30s-50s I recommend the route just out of Blackthorn

For anything 10-20 I'd say the area you go through that is between Goldenrod and Ecruteak.

That's basically what I do. I don't know of any good grinding spots in Kanto though.

That's not all that different from what my team was. With enough healing items, you could squeeze through, depending on move sets of course. If you absolutely need to grind, victory road is always there, and if you just need levels, there's always the daycare.

if u wana just pass the elite 4, get a nidoking and train the crap outa it, make sure to hold the nidoran from evolving until it learns horn drill so u can also have mega horn, its a bug type move so it'll super effective 1 shot the psychic pokemon aswell as be able to hit the ghosts
