If the Pokemon movie did follow the first season, who would you get to play the main characters?

Here's my vote:
Ash- Andy Samberg
Misty- Emma Watson but with her hair dyed red
Brock- Either Samuel Jackson or Harold from White Castle
Professor Oak- Brad Pitt
Gary- Zack Efron only because I'd like to see him get his ass kicked
Pikachu- Vin Diesel

I was taking that casting seriously until i saw Pickachu-Vin Diesel XD imagine that...soo kick ass

I will watch both of them.
For the sake of the series or the sake of laughing at how bad it is?
The later.
You should just wait for it to show up on Cartoon Network, like me...

I remember seeing the first Pokemon movie in theaters and getting the special edition Pokemon cards. I think the last ones to come out where straight to DVD...

Well, well, well, after poking around on the internet, i came across 2 things... (they are rumours yes...but bare with me)

A Digimon, and Pokemon live action film... o_O

now...im excited, but also nervous at the same time...just to how good/bad these films (if made) will be.

apparently the Pokemon is in development where some kids unearth a tomb and all the creatures are let lose (it wont follow Ash Ketchum and follow completely different people).

the Digimon one is tough but their are loads of teaser trailers

soooo...your thoughts? *hides behind metal wall* don't hurt me XD
Dude I love your profile picture! I don't really want it to happen. All the creatures would be coolio but the acting was lame enough in the cartoons.

Digimon = Not strng enough story unless the make it really dark and serious.
OMG A dark and gritty reboot is exactly what this series needs! Here's what I'm picturing: Agumon is a down-on-his-luck detective with a drug problem trying to solve the murders of the digi-destined...

Depending on the age of the kids it could work realy well. Also the immersion would need to be intense.
Anyways the premise makes it seem disconnected from the rest of the series, not nessisarily a bad thing.

Also Digimon season 1 was epic and if they live actioned it I would watch it in a second.
Anyone remember the season 1 digimon digivolve music? My favoite part of the show.

Both could be great but im fearing something like the Ben10 live action movie [sub]head desk, head desk, head desk.[/sub] Hated the entire series but the only recent example of a cartoon turned live action (Damn them for playing the movie over and over and me being bored enough to watch).

No.

Unless they make Pokemon/Digimon real, then they win a Uber cookie.

O.T: The Death Note Live action one is going to suck Zack Efron as Light/L? I think not....
wait what their making a death note movie with Efron thats horible.

OT:i'm pretty sure japan has live action movies about both of them hey mabey they made a cross over not sure though.

Good Lord, I really hope that that Pokémon movie gets made; Pokémon's kind of gone down the drain anyways, and the show was never all that great, so at least this would give me something to laugh about with my friends when it comes out (and yes, I would go see it). However, I really, really hope that they ditch the "no Ash" idea and end up making it just a live-action version of the series because I'm really planning on this thing being laugh-out-loud terrible.

Never been a big Digimon fan, though, so probably wouldn't see that.
