Pokemon franchise is a dumb concept on itself (don't be hating) so it would be an improvement.

No. That wouldn't be a Pokemon game. It doesn't have the right feel, and it wouldn't fit the property. It's not a bad idea on its own, but it's most certainly not a good Pokemon game. Everything doesn't have to be remade darker and edgier.

I don't even like Pokemon and I can tell that's a flat-out bad idea. I don't mean to offend, but...that very idea is a perversion.

Hahaha! Okay, I pictured a version of Pokemon Snap! where you go around in a boat and pick off the little buggers as you see them, and your best shots automatically get photographed for you to be graded on at the end of each level.

I haven't exactly been harboring a whole lot of contempt for Pokemon or anything like that, but seeing one blow up because I shot it... I find that hilarious.

Nah, Pokemon seems to be working the way it currently is.
Besides, I already imagine I'm killing the wild Pokemon when I defeat them, as an explanation to why I cannae catch them while they're fainted (And to gain revenge against Zubat)

So I choose the latter choice, that being No.

Somehow...makes me think of Monster Hunter. But OP prolly mean killing Pokemon using Pokemon...could be a nice badguy...if Pokemon can be killed. Can they? I'm not really into the whole franchise.
