Pokemon Bank completely backwards?

So I'm trying to move a *questionably legit* Lv. 80 Arceus through the Pokemon Bank from Platinum. The reason I say questionably legit is that I did catch the one in game using cheats to access the flute to reach him, so he is technically legitimately caught in Hall of Origin and all.

When I opened Pokemon Bank, he wasn't accessible. HOWEVER, The Darkrai I caught using the walk through walls cheat to reach his island which was also legitimately caught went through.

And my brother said he managed to get his Jirachi through that isn't legit either.

So... legit Pokemon are getting barred, whilst Pokemon who are completely unobtainable manage to get go through. I would love to know the system they're using to detect cheat Pokemon, because this is silly.

Also, my Samurott, Arcanine, Drapion, Skarmory, and Ampharos, ALL LEGIT CAUGHT IN BLACK 2, cannot be transferred. I managed to transfer a bunch of miscellaneous Pokemon by the box from Black 2 but these guys cannot be transferred.

Anyone having similar experiences?

I actually used a Action Replay to get my flute as well and I was able to transfer it over without any problem. Nearly all of my Pokemon have been transferred. I got a few that can't be transferred like the shiny Celebi I got online. But everything else is transferred fine.

They must be using some strange screening process, the Pokemon TSA won't let me through </3

I've had a largely positive experience myself, not a single Pokemon out of over 400 from White I transferred got barred, which included a PokeRanch Mew, Dream World Arceus and a ton of other event legendaries. All of them without exception are legit though, I haven't used any cheats since around 2009, so perhaps that has something to do with it. Did you ever use cheats on those Pokemon in Black 2 who were barred?

I can literally replace every other Pokemon except for Mew and Victini. If I can get a Mew from PokeRanch then that means that the only Pokemon I can't replace is Victini.

Mainly though I just wanna get the entries in my Pokedex, but no one wants to trade back and forth with me so then I can just get the dex entery because that's all I really want right now until I can beat my Emerald, Platinum, Heart Gold, and Black 2 so that I can begin transferring all the Pokemon again. I mean yeah I'm sad that I lost my event Shiny Dog trio, but it's not too bad, and I made sure to get 2 sets of the Shiny Creation Trio so those are already in my Y game.

Yup, if you upload 999 pokemon onto the Ranch Hayley gives you a Mew to download onto your DS game, I borrowed a friend's game to make up the numbers when I did it, but catching a load of Bidoofs would work equally well (if a little more time consuming...) XD

Hm, is PokeRanch available on the Wii U when in Wii Mode? Mainly because if it is then I'm gonna do it for sure, and hopefully I can connect my Pokemon and trade them up to eventually get it. And a faster way to do it is by breeding a foreign Magikarp because Magikarp eggs hatch the fastest apparently.

Mainly though I just wish someone would be willing to trade back and forth with me for certain Pokemon so that I can get the Pokedex entries. I don't wanna keep them either since I'd rather get my own, but for the time being I want the entries.

No idea, I've only ever used my Ranch on Wii, don't know much about the Wii U since I don't have one. My Rayquaza and Latios were caught legit clear back in... Ruby? Whichever had Latios I don't remember... They got banned, but the lvl 5 Latias I got off GTS went thru fine. My Jirachi I know was hacked cleared too, but it banned my Mew and Deoxys.

Now I'm just missing Mew and Deoxys.

From what I understand, the Azure Flute was never distributed so the Bank flags that as a hack regardless of it being Hall of Origin. I have also read that a Darkrai obtained with that hack will go through because there is some sort of internal flag missing in that instance.

I've gotten some hacked Pokemon though without any trouble, granted they are completely legal. I'm just glad the warning you get about being banned from using Pokemon Bank is seemingly an empty threat. It's finicky to say the least, but I haven't had any trouble getting any legit Pokemon through.

I don't think people understand what legit means. Legitimate Pokemon were caught or obtained by a means which doesn't involve cheats whatsoever.

It's hilarious how many people are claiming "legit" monsters are being blocked. Who are they trying to fool?
That said, Poke Bank isn't flawless, and maybe there are actually legit monsters not being able to get through.
But for the majority of cases, nope.

I'm glad. Hacked monsters ran rampant in Gen IV&V. Doesn't bother me if someone wants to cheat in a singleplayer only game, but when you take that junk online, you're being an ass.

I've had no issues myself, transferring Arceus, Darkrai, Multiple Victinis, a bunch of other stuff that's rare but all legit and from my own games (no hacks on my games at all). It's worth noting that bank doesn't stop hacked pokemon that could potentially be legit. Full 31 shinies are fine, wonder guard Arceus isn't.

That Hall of Origin Arceus can't be legit because the flute wasn't distributed, if I remember rightly.

I had tons of cloned and hacked pokemon get through, but I'm kind of sad, my shiny rapidash I traded for I'm finding out is a hacked pokemon.

The flute was never distributed anywhere in the world so the Bank probably flags it as hacked

My legitimate Arceus (from the level 100 distribution event) didn't get through... at least, one of them didn't. The other legitimate Arceus I have got through just fine, and considering they're both from the same event I found that rather... odd.

On the note of hacked pokemon getting through, my *totally* legitimate Ho-Oh got through the checks - despite being level 16. As did my Deoxys that started it's life as a Ledyba, so I'm thinking that the checks are either really specific or the transfer process from 3rd Generation to 6th Generation cleared out some hacked tags or something.

My Deoxys was the same thing, hacked in some fashion back in 3 and passed up and it didn't make it thru. Like I said, my Latios I caught - no, my Latias that was lvl 5 - yes. Same with my Rayquaza - I know for a fact I caught him. Named him Nataku, after the Gundam Wing Custom, I was real big into Gundam 10 years ago.

All my pokemon I caught/gain from legit means with out a AR went in fine along with the Pokemon I used Pokegen and a Fake GTS to send into my game went in fine how ever the 100% legit Raikou I got from Gamestop back in Gen 4 failed to enter but I had like 12 of them from the event so it does not bug me much just it had near perfect IV and a good nature along with me EV trained it for hours and hours killing npc for the EV other then that its fine.

My Legit gen 4 TRU Arceus and my Pokegen Arceus I edited to have perfect IV and a Modest nature went in no issue.
I dislike Action Replays I have one but I dislike it due to normaly it destorys the whole game by corrupting the data and its just a pain in the neck. So I make pokemon over Pokegen and transfer them to my game over a fake GTS of course along with have Pokecheck check my fake so I know that everything is legit when I see all green across the board.

The method I use has no effect on the game only effect it holds for the game card is that you can not use that save file in a Pokemon Tournament or you be Ban same apply to a save file a Action Replay was used on, So in which case you need 2 game cards one to mess with and another to keep clean and pure along with trade any hacks made on the Evil card into the Pure which causes the card to remain useable in Tournaments, Well so long as the hack Pokemon are found in a vaild area at a vaild level with a PID that matchs the Nature/IV along with no more then 510EV it should be no issue.

Yes, it should be available on the Wii's Shop Channel in the Wii U. You can still buy and DL old games on there too.

I remember being meticulously thorough when I was using PokeSav to make legit-looking Pokemon just short of three years ago in Black. EVs summing to 510, calculating personality values by hand, and picking appropriate catch locations. Yet, I've still got about ~20 rejected Pokemon, including two Genesects and five shiny Pikachu.

Oh, but my shiny Mudkips made the trip... That's just FABULOUS!
