There is not. I think there's a block starting at generation 3 which prevents Pokemon from being transferred. Even so you would have to pass Pokemon over in a slow fashion since the generations are usually only capable of trading directly with the previous one. It's really quite a mess and I really hope Pokemon Bank will make it easier to do this in the future.Qvar said:I'm considering purchasing a pokemon game one of this days. Well none of the Pokemon you listed were exactly hacked or illegal to begin with.Dexterity said:flawless, it wasn't at its original release. I don't know why people are expecting it to have a 100% success rate.
I've been able to transfer 100% of my Pokemon, including an event Darkrai, an event shiny Eevee, Victini and a shiny german ninetales.
Yopaz is right only gen 3 pokemon can be carried to the latest gen through a contrived fashion. You need a DS original or DS lite and NOT A DSi. You then add the pokemon to Diamond/Pearl/Plat. Then move them to Black/White and finally Pokebank them to X/Y. That is the way I know of doing it. So unless you can get the right DS I'd suggest starting with gen 4 and giving 3 a miss.Qvar said:I'm considering purchasing a pokemon game one of this days. That was the case for the Generation III to IV transfer, and possibly IV to V (can't remember) but it isn't a problem for PokeBank, it accepted every Pokemon with an HM I put through it and even all the ones with TMs no longer exist in the 6th generation, e.g. Sceptile with Dragon Pulse.2xDouble said:Really dumb question, but did you remember to check the TM and HM moves that it/they have? I remember reading something about certain TM and all HM moves being non-transferrable using Pokebank.
My 'Creation trio' I got in Soul Silver transferred over and I cheated up a japan only event Arceus to get Giratina, THEN, used an event reset code to get the other two.Ravage said:snip
I'm not certain this is true. I caught the Lugias, Ho Ohs, Deoxys, and a Mew from Emerald and Sapphire using a cheat to reach their islands and I had no trouble getting them through. They weren't leveled once either.Big_Willie_Styles said:My Arceus got through but my Darkrai and Shaiman didn't. It seems arbitrary.
I think it's determined by Level. If you caught a "legitimate" Pokemon and didn't level it once, maybe it won't let you take it. Level it once and it should go through.
Darkrai has an issue where if it knows a certain move (I think pursuit) it doesn't go through as it's not considered an available move in gen 5 but it is in gen 4. It might be the same thing with your Shaymin as well.Big_Willie_Styles said:My Arceus got through but my Darkrai and Shayman didn't. It seems arbitrary.

EDIT: That didn't work. Damn it...
Got to disagree here. Even if you're paying, why should Nintendo cater for Pokemon that weren't created legitimately in game or have been altered with cheat systems? I don't mind if people want to keep their hacks to themselves but too often people have tried have to pass off illegal Pokemon as legit online, hopefully these checks will help stamp that out.ecoho said:ok im sorry but anyone else think its BS that you cant transfer what ever you want though this PAID service? sorry but the second they required you to pay for it they lost the right to dictate what you can and cant transfer.
still not seeing a problem here, look I can understand if you want to ban these for say tournament but who the hell cares if joe smoh wants his darkrai he got from hacks to be in HIS new pokemon game so he can get a sense of completion with that pokedex. Hell in the case of old event pokemon I think nentendo should just give those a pass as far as ledgendaries are concerned sense you cant obtain them except by going to events that:JoJo said:Got to disagree here.
