Red and Blue are great, but I personally think that Gold and Silver are the best in the Pokemon series (slightly behind Pokemon Snap). I liked Ruby and Sapphire okay, but Diamond annoys the hell out of me. Gold (the one I played) is definitely my favorite.

Occasionally I'll go back to pre-Final Fantasy 7 games. Gotta love 2D Final Fantasy's.

By the way.. Pokemon Yellow > Red/Blue
Yeah but only if you ditch that yellow rat right away.
I always wanted to evolve it, but no luck. :(

I still play Baldur's gate and it's sequels, a great game. I guess the only game that comes close to that age and amount of playtime is Pokemon Red version. You heard me you blue Heathens!

Must have been stated already but: LoZ OOT/MM
SSBM if it counts.
BF1942 and Vietnam.
SMW, Silicone valley, Mystical Ninja starring: goemon (or however the 64 one was called).
Jazz Jack Rabbit 2
Doctor mario/tetris
And more, I'm too nostalgic...

I loved pokemon so much back in the day. I still think it kicks ass. I hope that one day they'll put the original episodes on youtube so I can relive some awesome childhood memories.

Pokemon Blue's pretty good, first video game I ever owned.
I do prefer Crystal to it, though. To me, that was the highlight of the series.
I've also gone back to Stadium 2 and Tetris.
Same with my first. I say it's my second favorite to Ruby. I just can't help but love that one.

Blue did indeed kick a lot of ass. I don't see it stopping any time soon. Silver was superior in my eyes, though.

You can never go wrong with classic arcade games, though. Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Asteroids, etc. Good stuff!

I still play a few Pokemon games now and then, they really have stood the test of time, especially in the modern day fast paced market that the gaming industry is these days.
