I'd love to have a Lapras, and there's a huge lake within driving distance. I might be able to find one there, though I'm not sure if Laprases live in lakes, or only in oceans. If it's limited to just walking distance, I would probably go for an Emolga (flying electric squirrel) or Pachirisu (regular electric sqirrel), seeing as there are plenty of trees around.

I live near a creek fed by a storm drain outlet, which seems like the ideal spawning ground for Grimer. Then comes Muk, the most badass pile of sentient sewage ever.

I live in Southern Cali. so i would either go to the beach & get me a Seel to the deserts and get me a trapinch. Or go north and catch the infamous San Franisco Hippie O.O

I catch a Meowth. I level him up to 18 so he learns Pay Day. BAM! Instant money. I'm set for life.

I live in a city crowded by pigeons. So maybe I could go for a pidgey, train it to be pigeotto and then just fly on it's back all the fucking time. Fuck pokémon battles, lemme fly :p

I saw a bear today. And a baby bear bobbing along beside it!
Perhaps a teddiursa?
But I also saw ponies, too! Perhaps a ponyta?

Of course, we have a lot of caverns around here. I could prolly find a sableye! I'd love my shiny sableye, like the only shiny I ever caught. (Other than the red garaydos, of course)
Though I really worried about it; it was the "Shadow pokemon," said to slip into apparent nothingness for most of its life, except it sparkled and glowed constantly.

Or maybe I could dig up some old action figures buried in the yard and get a shuppet..
If it wasn't too mad at me.

And really, I have so much old antique furniture 'n other stuff that there's prolly a litwick somewhere.

Perhaps my dog would come back to me as a ghost pokemon? That would be the BEST THING EVER, now that I think of it. Forget any other pokemon, I want that instead.

There are pidgeons living in the tree outside my window, so I can only asume they'd be transmuted into pidgeys... Pidgey FTW

I live near a rather flat area, so it probably has quite a few flying pokémon. Probably a pidgey. Pidgeot is awesome :p

I would have to say Cyndaquil, because hedgehogs (i'm assuming he is based on his appearance) are common around where I live, either that or due to the plethora of forests around where I live I would have to say Pidgey. Because either would be well adapted to the four seasons we have here. Also, I could use either of them to help clear the snow off of the driveway in winter. Pidgey using gust, or Cyndaquil using ember.

Hrmm... locale-wise, not sure. squirrels, bears, moose, caribou, birds, mosquitos, bugs, salmon, other fishies. I'd prolly just find something warm and deal, cause pokemon has a pretty primitive and exclusive transit system. Living in Alaska, I'd just be happy to live with one that decreased heating expense. Best on that end would prolly be a bear, like teddiursa, but I really wouldn't wanna try that whole mom/kid separation thing. A tad suicidal, if you ask me. Anyways, don't think I'd find anything particularly special without driving about quite a bit.
