The most useful thing I've gotten from wondertrade is pokerus... I don't have very good luck. That being said, I generally send out my breeding chaff. Of course, this is high quality chaff. anything 3 IVs or less gets relegated to the dumpster. I'm sending out 4+ IVs, correct nature, maybe an egg move, and possibly the hidden ability, and the things are definitely in a luxury ball. I'm sure I made some people happy with my Bulletproof, Spikes-knowing, swag-ballin' Chespins.

I've been relativity lucky with Wonder trade. I've sent out breeding extras for a while and got a Mewtwo and a Dialga named diarrhea out of it.

The biggest boon I've gotten from Wonder trade was a Japanese Chespin with 5 I.V.s and a 6 I.V. Swirlix. Thankfully, most of the Pokemon I like are in the Field Egg Group so I've used the Chespin to breed a shiny Chesnaught (Conkerstomp), A shiny Diggersby (Hugh), and and shiny male Lopunny (Bonnie). I plan to use the Swirlx to breed a shiny Audino when I get the motivation to start breeding again.
It seems criminal to not pre-emptively name a Chespin "THE CHESNAUT", so when we finally get ball capsules back he will be ready to have Unknown spell out "*****" whenever you toss him out.

so yeah never figured out how to use the wonder trade system but I assume it works like the old online trade thing with pearl and that thing I traded a lvl 3 bird for a dam Blazikin I was so happy:)

(btw if anyone could tell me how to wonder trade id really appreciate it since I have y and OR)
It's pretty simple: you start it from the PSS, pick a Pokemon you want to give away and you confirm. The system then finds a random stranger and matches them with you and you get the Pokemon they put up on the Wonder Trade. It's completely random though. You don't know what you're going to get until it arrives. So don't give away something you need, because you're not going to get it back and you can't cancel the process.

In some way, it would be common courtesy not to put up Pokemon like Zubat or Zigzagoon on there, they are very common and pretty much no one needs them. Maybe if they are shiny or holding some cool items like fossils. I usually give away some not very common Pokemon I don't need and don't intend to use. It's cool for filling up the pokedex, but you'll also get a lot of stuff that you already have. You can then send them back to the Wonder Trade.

I got 2 shinies through wonder trade. Not competitive shinies, but shinies none the less. An Alakazam and a Piloswine (I also got a Porygon Z through the GTS. Didn't ask for a shiny, but got one). Other than that, not a whole lot worth mentioning. A few Pokerus carriers, egg move carriers, hidden abilities, and Pokemon with decent IVs. Though most of the time it's shitty Fletchlings and Weedles.

My friend also got a shiny Mewtwo through wonder trade.

I think I got Phione in a Wonder Trade.

Long while back, I remember that people decided to dump a bunch of Zubats on a certain day with their PSS message reading 'Repel's effect wore off!' and I got in on that. While doing that, I did a Wonder Trade with someone who was also doing it.

Way more recently, for Valentine's Day, I bred a bunch of Luvdics in Love Balls, gave them some goodies and sent them out, and ran across a guy who was doing pretty much exactly what I was doing.

<spoiler=Proof>

*Ahem*

I'm going to make her into a Gardevoir, and then try 'breeding' so when I end up with more Shiny Ralts- I can give em out to you guys on The Escapist as a token of my thanks for motivating me to grind ... due to reading this thread lol.
Sorry, but shiny Pokemon aren't more likely to have shiny offspring.

Shame really, since shiny Mega Gallade is one of the greatest shinies and I want one so much.
