"Mph. This team name thing is just trouble. Why don't we just leave it as Team B? We're never going to agree on anything, anyways. Besides, we have something more important coming up right now." Terinth said this just as the former Pokemon Reserve came into view.
"What kind of pokemon do you guys all think will be in it? OhOhOh! I bet there will be some berries in there for our pokemon! What do you guys think?" She said excitedly as she realized this.
Carter felt a small surge of satisfaction as the young girl agreed with him. Nodding to Nathan, he said simply "Onwards. Nowhere to go but forward." Glancing at Drake, he just shook his head and walked forward, bouncing his Pokeball in his hand. "Well, Terinth," Carter began, a small smile on his face. "I doubt we'll be finding anything extremely rare. It may be have once been a Pokemon reserve, but it's since been opened to the public. We'll likely find things like Bugs, perhaps a few Pidgey or similar creatures. But I've been surprised before."
The path Team B had started walking on was now just a narrow dirt path. The grass had grown longer the further they walked. On average each blade of grass was three feet tall, rustling could be heard from within it. The scenery around them had become wild. Roots from nearby trees had caused large cracks in the path if you could even call it a path anymore.
The path soon lead the group to a large metal gate that had fallen down. Vines covered the gate, it probably had collapsed under the weight of them. While they were walking over it the trainers could barely make out the words on it. Wildlife Preserve
They had arrived. The trees around the area appeared to be incredibly old. They were very tall and together they formed a canopy that blocked out most of the suns light. Dots of light from the sun that made it through the leaves formed small dots of light scattered across the ground.
At first the team saw no Pokemon but as they went deeper into the preserve it erupted in life. The buzzing of wings assaulted the ears of the team as they walked into a clearing. A very small lake at the centre of the clearing had drawn Pokemon from the whole reserve to have a drink and cool off from the hot summer sun.

As the group got close, a small, yellow spider took notice. Without hesitation, it turned around and scuttled toward Ryan. His smile turned into a smirk. "I accept your challenge. Tackle!" Magnemite swooped down at the Bachuru, sending it rolling sideways. "Good job. Give it another!" Magnemite flew at its opponent again, but Bachuru, taking careful aim, shot out a long silk string, entangling Magnemite. Magnemite stopped its attack and tried to get free, while Bachuru took this opportunity to leap onto Magnemite and try to bite into it, with little, if any, success. Ryan chuckled at the small Pokemon's attempted Leech Life. "Tackle, if you please." Magnemite dropped downward, slamming Bachuru hard against the ground. Dazed, the little spider let go, and Magnemite rose into the air, continuing its struggle against the silk. With Bachuru sufficiently weakened, Ryan pulled out an empty Pokeball, and hurled it at the wild Pokemon. The ball popped open as it bounced off Bachuru, and drew it in before shutting closed. It wobbled for a few seconds, then made a click, signifying a successful capture.
Ryan walked over to the Pokeball, picked it up, and punched the air. "Woohoo! Pokemon GET!" He laughed as he opened the ball, revealing the winded Pokemon. "That was a good battle, little guy." He pulled out a Potion, and continued. "You'll become a force to be reckoned with someday, no doubt." He administered the Potion, and soon Bachuru was hopping up and down, brimming with energy. "There you go. Now- woah!" Without warning, the little Pokemon had scurried up Ryan's body, and sat comfortably on his head. Ryan's wide smile returned. "Works for me."
He went over to Magnemite and helped it get the rest of the silk thread off, then looked over to see how everyone else was doing.
As he walks next to Carter, he spies out of the corner of his eye, a pokemon charging in from his perriferal. "Jump!" Jumping back from the charge and seeing that it was a Nincada. "Nincada huh..." standing still and examining it "It looks healthy..." looking around at its body. To Carter "I remember reading somewhere that Nincada's evolution includes Ghost like abilities."
"I would like to see that form." Looking at the Nincada with intent on capturing it.
Looking to see his Misdreavus floating next to him and looks over with a curious look on her face. "Lets add another one to the family." Misdreavus eyes widening and then glaring at the Nincada with a smirk on her face. "Its a bug type...but I don't believe its really that strong, but lets take it out fast." Misdreavus seeing the determination in his master's eyes turns around and faces the Nincada. "MiiiIIISSS!" Scouling at the Nincada. The Nincada actually being afraid of the Misdreavus. Her necklace begins to glow, Nathan notices "Well then, Attack it with a Psywave!"
The Misdreavus going in for the attack, disappearing and then reappearing behind the bug pokemon and unleashing a blast of psychic energy. Blasting it back down the path on its back. The Nincada jumping back up and leaping for Misdreavus and tries to use Scratch, and immediatly fails. Nathan having a great laugh at the Nincada's attempt to attack Misdreavus "Hahahhahahahahaha....Anyways, Hit it again with another Psywave, but use Growl along with it." Misdreavus going in for the attack, Growling at the Nincada with a distinct scare that is purposly put in it. The Nincada being afraid uses Harden and braces for impact. Misdreavus going in for the attack, point blank at the Nincada and uses a powerful Psywave attack. Sending flying into a tree, almost imbedding it inside the trunk. "Wow! That was fantastic June." Walking over to see the Nincada stuck in the tree, unable to get out. "Ahahahahahha," having another laugh and then calming down "I respect this Nincada's want to fight even though its really unable to do damange. Unless it used Leech Life...but it was.." Looking at the Nincada again and chuckling "...unable too."
Taking out a Pokeball and to the Nincada he says "You fought the way you could as your instincts have told you. Allow me to train you to become better in the longrun ahead." Throwing his pokeball at the Nincada, hitting it and absorbing it inside. Landing on the ground, the expected bings and dings that the pokeball makes lasts for what is seemed to be hours in that excitement when the adrenaline rushes through the viens of the body. Finally, with one final ding. It stops.
Nathan walks on over and picks up the pokeball and holds it against his chest and says. "As the bugs of this land are looked upon as fierce and savage. I hope to bring that ideal into a new light with you."
After David had completed his protest, Carter said softly "Why would you name yourself as the peons of another? For someone so arrogant, I find it appalling that you would suggest it."
Assume that all this happens right after Carter says this, for continuity's sake I guess.
"Arrogant?!" Ben approached the monk and glared into his eyes. He then started shouting and leaning in closer, as if he was about to punch the other trainer.
"Who the hell do you think you are, calling me arrogant?! I'm not the one acting all high and mighty with your silent treatment! Do you think that makes you better, not talking unless it's to drop some stupid pseudo-philosophical bull, or to call someone else an idiot?!" He then pointed an accusatory finger at the man. "I've seen your type before. You're one of those damn monks, aren't you? Don't bother trying to deny it, it's unmistakable! Well let me tell you something, you don't have a right to call me arrogant! All you monks are the same, spouting your little nuggets of wisdom like peace and harmony, but as soon as it inconveniences you you drop it, and become the same violent warriors the rest of humanity are!"
He leaned in close and said, almost in a whisper. "I don't like people who deny their nature. But I hate hypocrites. You'd better not be both, for your own sake."
Ben turned and walked away, Raze following close behind him, barking at Carter before scoffing a bit. He walked off into the forest on his own, muttering to himself. "Those idiots. They're all a bunch of hardheaded fools. They think they can be so great on their own? They need strength. And apparently I'm the one that has to go out and find him."
As he walked deeper down the trail, he became aware that a Pokemon was following he and Raze. The Houndour turned to face it, growling and lowering its head as it went into a combat stance. The creature hopped down, and it became apparent that it was some type of Bug Pokemon. However, Ben couldn't identify it. The Pokemon was a bug, obviously, and it was white, with five red tendrils of some sort coming out of its head. Ben checked the gear and got a short description.
MERARUBA: THE TORCHLIGHT POKEMON. MERARUBA LIVES AT THE FOOT OF VOLCANOES. IT REPELS ITS ENEMIES BY SHOOTING FLAMES FROM ITS FIVE HORNS.
The Pokemon gave an odd sort of chirtling noise before its horns flared red. Ben smirked as he looked at the little challenger. "You want a fight, do you? Okay, then, let's see what you've got!"
Raze jumped in front of it, barking madly. "Use Ember, Raze!" The dog obeyed and launched a torrent of flame at the bug, who stood its ground and responded with an Ember of its own, detonating the two attacks in mid-air. Ben ordered Raze to perform a Howl next, which it did with extreme enthusiasm. But Meraruba was prepared for that and used String Shot, catching Raze in its web and trapping it in place.
"It's smart! Use Ember to get free, Raze!" Ben's orders were followed as Raze burned off the webs, but Meraruba used this opportunity to leap above the Houndour and send its own Ember down on it, pelting the dog in flames. By the time it had landed the smoke cleared and revealed that Raze was no worse off from the attack. Ben grinned and shouted "Let's finish it quick, then! One more Ember!" Raze heeded the command and blasted the Torchlight Pokemon with a barrage of fire, knocking the bug on its back, singed slightly. As it struggled to get back up, Ben threw the Pokeball he had just retrieved. It smacked into the Meraruba's belly, and dragged it inside in the form of red light. The ball fell to the ground and began to wobble, as Ben watched it closely. He grit his teeth and counted the red flashes. One... two...
At long last, the third chime was heard, and the Pokeball stopped moving. Ben smiled and walked over, picking up the Meraruba's ball.
"Oh-ho, man! You were just what I needed little guy. I needed something to cheer me up right about now. Those idiots don't appreciate my naming skills, but I'm sure you will. I think I'll call you... Brightflower."
With his new acquisition, Ben walked back the way he had come, to find the group still where it was. Just as he had expected, no progress was made without him. However, two others were celebrating catches of their own. He watched personally as a Nincada was captured by one of them.
All good Pokemon. He thought to himself. But none of 'em could match Brightflower.
David had ignored Ben's outburst of rage as he was walking out slightly away from the group, calling his Tyrogue out quickly to see if they could find something. He heard a little rustling in the grass nearby, and he walked over slowly to see what pokemon was moving around, when a mushroom looking pokemon popped out of the brush, looking frowny while peering over at David and Tyrogue.
"Let's see if we can get this thing to work..." David commented as he pulled out his red pokedex, aiming it at the pokemon and clicking a few random buttons, before it finally started saying something about the pokemon
"Shroomish. The Mushroom Pokemon. If it senses danger, it scatters spores from the top of its head to protect itself."
"So a poisonous mushroom... How original." David commented as he looked through it's info, noticing it was a grass type, and that it had a cool looking evolution. He thought it over quickly, before deciding to catch it, and bring it along with his team. "Alright Tyrogue! Get in there and use Fake Out!" David yelled as Tyrogue rushed forward, slapping his hands together in front of the Shroomish's face. It dazed out a second, looking confused as Tyrogue got the upper hand again. "Go Tyrogue! Tackle!" David yelled as his pokemon tackled the mushroom, and sent it into looking weak. However, it shot some poisonous spores from its head, and they coated Tyrogue very quickly, making him slow down and look sort of sick. David quickly picked out a pokeball, throwing it at the downed Shroomish with a little bounce on its head, before being sucked up into the ball. The ball began to shake... 1...2...3 Times before it quickly clicked, signifying the capture.
"Woohoo! Good job there Tyrogue!" He yelled out as he rushed to his pokemons side, looking him quickly over. Something was wrong, Tyrogue was looking a bit green as he stumbled around. "Tyrogue! Return!" David called before grabbing it's ball and sending him back in.Hopefully thats enough for now... I think he might be poisoned... David returned to the group, and quickly looked over everyone and there new catches, and sent out his quickly, giving it a potion before looking it over quickly, the frown still stuck on its face.
As Terinth explored the reserve with her Purotooga, she felt just like she was training with her pokemon back in Kanto. As her stomach started to rumble, she searched for some berries. As she came through a brush of trees, she happened upon a small clearing, with a pond in the middle.
"Huh, how convienient. Purotooga, look around and see what you can find. I'm going to get me some water." Terinth said to her pokemon.
"Pu-rrrrrrrrr-o" It responded. As it crawled off, Terinth walked up to the pond to inspect it. It appeared as if it were filled with rainwater, with an odd lilypad floating in the biddle of it.
As Terinth reached down to grab the lilypad, it looked up.
"Gah! A pokemon!" It had caught her off guard. As she stumbled backwards, she pulled out her OrenGear to get a bio on it, she heard her Purotooga cry out, and come scrambling back into the clearing up to her side. As she looked to see what caused Purotooga's distress, the OrenGear delivered it's message.
"Lotad. The Water Weed Pokemon. Its leaf grew to big for it to live on land. That is how it began to float on water."
As Terinth heard the description, she heard a rustling in the trees from where Purotooga had come from. A Spearow jumped down next to the Lotad. The OrenGear went right to work.
"Spearow. The Tiny Bird Pokemon. Very Protective of its territory, it flaps its short wings busily to dart around at high speed."
"Great. Just what I needed. A pokemon, I can hardly do any damage to, and a territorial pokemon. Alright Purotooga, let's get this done. Use Rollout on the Spearow!" As the pokemon followed the command, the Lotad looked as if it were drawing a small amount of energy from the Spearow.
"Just my luck. A self-concerned pokemon. He shouldn't be much of a problem later." As the Lotad did this, the Spearow started to use Growl, staying rooted in its place.
"What, does it think that paltry little squeak will scare off my Purotooga?" She immiediatly got an answer as her pokemon rolled over the Spearow, and carried it with it straight into the tree behind it. Realizing this was probably her best chance, Terinth tried to capture it.
"Gooooo, POKEBALL!!!!" she shouted as she threw the capture device at the injured Spearow. As the ball made contact, a red beam of light drew the Spearow into the ball. As it bbobbed around a few times, it finally stopped, and indicated the pokemon had been caught.
"Alright! Gotcha! Now, Purotooga, use Rollout again!" As her pokemon followed the command, the Lotad started flailing around while shouting.
"It's using Astonish. I didn't know Lotad could learn that move."
"Purotooga! Don't stop, just keep on rolling!" As it hit the pokemon, her Purotooga nearly flattened the Lotad.
"Gooooo, POKEBALL!!!!" repeating the move as she did before, watching the ball make contact with the other pokemon, and see it bob and finally stop, with the succesful catch indication.
"Alright!" She yelled out, grabbing the two new pokeballs and bringing out the pokemon from within. As she checked the pokemon over, she noticed the Spearow had sustained some serious injuries, mostly to his wings and talons. The Lotad seemed perfectly fine.
"Damn. That Rollout was little TO effective. Won't be able to use him until we get to the next town."
"Alright, let's try and find the rest of the group, guys." Terinth said as she got up, grabbing some food from her pack to munch on while she walked back to the group.
Carter chuckled as the young boy stalked off, fuming. He was going to be an interesting one to watch. Rubbing his chin thoughtfully, he idly wondered if he had ever 'spouted' anything about peace and harmony. Shaking his head and laughing to himself, he stretched and said "Alright. Let's take a break, everyone. Rest, go out exploring, whatever, just be back in an hour."
As the teens ran off to their adventures, Carter settled onto an old, moss-covered log and closed his eyes, allowing the natural sounds of the preserve to wash over him. The whisper of wind through the leaves, the slight rustle of wildlife frisking through the tall grass, and... His ears perked up. A strange sound, like shale scraping along paper, struck him, and he opened his eyes.
Before him, a Pineco stood defiantly. The blue, odd-looking creature made a sound suspiciously like a snort and hopped onto the log beside him. Carter tensed; he was well aware of what angry Pineco did. Smiling in what he hoped was a soothing manner, Carter said softly "Well, hey, little guy. What're you doing here?"
The Bug-type Pokemon growled lowly at him. "Piiiiine..." Gulping, Carter slowly pulled a bit further away from the creature, only to have it hop right back beside him.
"What do you want, my friend?" He said softly, keeping his hands well where the Pokemon could see him. Carter idly wondered where the others were, but realized his own situation was likely a bit more dire. When the little creature only stared at him, Carter slowly reached down and opened his pack, drawing the Pineco's gaze like a laser. Just like I thought... he mused as he pulled a small package from the bag and set it on his lap. The Pineco stared at it as Carter slowly unwrapped it, revealing a collection of large, juicy berries.
Cautiously, Carter placed one in his open palm and offered it to the Pineco who greedily swallowed the whole thing. Laughing to himself, Carter offered him another. "So, little friend, having trouble finding food?" The bug made an affirmative gesture, watching the pile of berries hungrily. "Well... want to tag along with me? I've got plenty of food, and if you're willing to fight and become strong for me, I'll get you all the food you can handle."
After peering at him carefully for a few moments, the Pineco nodded and popped a bit away from Carter. Chuckling, Carter threw the rest of the berries on the ground for the Pineco to enjoy while he fished out a Pokeball. Only a few moments after he had looked away, the Pineco was staring at him mournfully, the mess of berries already devoured. Carter hesitated, unsure if he was going to be able to keep his promise, before tossing to ball at the creature. In a flash of light, the Pineco was secure in his new home. Sighing, Carter retrieved the ball and set it at his belt before going about his pack and taking stock of his supplies. Hopefully he'd be able to keep the little guy fed.
Drake ignored Ben's outburst and continued to walk around the watering hole. Pokemon of all shapes and sizes surrounded the group, a few even challenged and were captured by the group. However, Drake only had eyes for one Pokemon. On the branches of a tree hanging over the pond, was a lone Caterpie.
"Hey! A Caterpie." Drake exclaimed as he laid his eyes on the Pokemon. From his studies back in Littleroot Town, He knew that Caterpie eventually evolved into a Butterfree, and that Butterfree learn some Psychic moves.
The Caterpie noticed the human below him and eyed him cautiously. Slowly, The Caterpie lowered itself from the tree branch via a silk thread and stood adamantly before Drake.
"What do you say Arcana? Do you want to add another member to our family?" Drake asked his partner, who was sitting contently on his head.
"Ralts!" She Exclaimed with a positive tone in her voice. She hopped off of Drake's head and landed gracefully in front of her opponent.
"Haha! I was hoping you would say that. Go! Use Confusion!" Drake cried out!
Arcana summoned up and fired a blast of mental energy at the Caterpie. The Attack connected and sent it sprawling back into the trunk of the tree.
"Now's my chance!" Drake exclaimed in his mind. He fished a Pokeball out of his pack and threw it at the dazed Caterpie. The pokemon was transformed into a red light and was sucked into the ball. The ball shook.....once......twice.....thrice....*CLICK*!
Drake threw up his fist in triumph. "Whoo hoo! We got a Caterpie!" Drake walked over and picked up the pokeball and tossed it into the air, ball popped open and released the Caterpie back into the world. Arcana moved closer to the Caterpie, who was shaking quite a bit. Being defeated and captured so quickly may have frightened it quite a bit. Arcana could sense the fear and confusion in the pokemon and tried to calm it down, reassuring it that it was going to be fine, and that Drake is a great trainer.
Caterpie calmed down a little, but was still shaking a bit.
"Whats the matter? Are you scared? Comon. Come over here!" Drake knelt down and extended his arm, offering to let the pokemon crawl on him. If he couldn't earn the Pokemon's trust, then they would be less effective in combat.
Hesitantly, the Caterpie slowly crawled over to Drake and began to scale his body. Once the Caterpie reached his shoulder, the Pokemon relaxed and cheered up a little.
Drake turned his head so that he was looking at Caterpie. "See? You have nothing to worry about." Drake stated with a smile on his face.
"Pii....*sigh* Pii!" Came a satisfied reply from the Pokemon.
"Now, we need a name for you....Hmmm...How about Tarot?" Drake asked his new companion.
"Cater! Pii!" Came a cry with a positive feel.
"Alright, its settled then." Drake proclaimed as he walked over and picked up Arcana and put her on his other shoulder. Arcana, Meet Tarot, Tarot, this is Arcana. You two are gonna get along just fine."
"Ralts!" Arcana chirped with a smile on her face.
"Pii!" Tarot seemed quite happy as well.
And thus, Tarot the Caterpie joined Drake and Arcana...
Hey guys. I'll post some more plot tomorrow morning, I had a busy day at the beach . So for those of you who aren't Australian (All of you ) It'll be up within 12 hours.
This will be the first "Boss Battle" Team B will experience. You will be controlling your respective Pokemon and I will control the Scythers. This will operate like a normal battle, you will call your attack and your opponent (Me) will decide if it hits. To make it easier for me to fight all of you at the same time in "Boss Battles" I will call me own hits.
You can attempt to catch these Pokemon by throwing a Pokeball IC. Unlike before I will decide whether you catching or not IC.
Opponents
Shiny Scyther
2 Normal Scythers
Finding the clearing proved to be lucky for the trainers. After only a small amount of time all the trainers had new additions to their teams. Some used the normal way of catching by weakening their prize in battle. Others chose to befriend the Pokemon they wanted to join their team. But new Pokemon were what they all needed and it didn?t really matter how they acquired.
In the midst of their post catching celebration the trainers failed to notice something. The clearing had grown quiet; it was no longer filled with Pokemon. While the trainers were busy the Pokemon had sensed something and left as quickly as they could. What they sensed would soon reveal itself to the trainers.
The force had ripped through the dense forest like it was nothing. Working together blades sliced each branch in its path. By the time the trainers heard them it was already too late, they were at the clearing. Three green blurs shot out of the surrounding trees and heading directly towards the trainers. As they crossed the lake their blades tore through the water beneath them.
They were Mantis Pokemon called Scyther. This was their territory and they didn?t take kindly to trespassers. The Scyther leading the charge seemed to be the boss. It was an unusual colouring and was larger than its companions. Flying with immense speed the soon were just a couple metres away from the trainers.
"Whoa!" Ben shouted, rushing to the front of the pack. His eyes glittered with sheer glee as he looked at the massive Scyther leading the pack. He immediately fished out Brightflower's Pokeball and let her out. "Oh wow, oh wow, I've gotta fight you so bad!!" He shouted. His Meraruba lined herself up to face down the lead Scyther.
"I call dibs on this monster! You guys can take the others, but leave this one to me, I'm begging ya!"
He looked at the Scyther and eyed it greedily, a mad toothy smile stretched on his face. "You look like a real champ, ya know that Scyther? Whaddaya say, you me and Brightflower duke it out right here! If I win, you come with me?"
Ben could hardly believe his luck, a shiny Scyther right there in front of him. And it looked like it was strong, too. It wasn't a fire type, and he knew a second Bug type might be disadvantageous, but he couldn't help himself when he found a strong opponent. He had to at least fight it, but he was going to try with all his might to catch it.
Hearing Ben yell out the command, Terinth immiediatly switched her sights to the next Scyther.
"Alright! But if I see you in trouble, I'll have one of my pokemon join yours! Now, Purotooga, Lotad, join the party!" She yelled out as she threw out two of her pokeballs containing her Purotooga and Lotad. As they witnessed the pokemon they were about to fight, she saw her two pokemon tense up. They knew it was going to be a rough road ahead of them.
"Alright, I want you two to attack in unison! Give it no escape route! Purotooga, use Rollout! Lotad, use Astonish!" She knew not if their attacks would connect, or how effective they were be, but she knew there was still more ahead.
David knew that Tyrogue was out of commission for now, so when the Scyther charged up to the team he reached for his new pokemon, Shroomish, to come out and battle. "Come on out new buddy"David said as he brung out his Mushroom looking pokemon, A permanant frown on its face. It hopped a few times before seeing the third Scyther, then stopped and tried to stare it down. "Alright Shroomish! Use a tackle then get ready to follow up with an Absorb!" David yelled as his Shroomish leapt forward, preparing to charge the Scyther.
"All right, let's do this!" Ben shouted, getting into the spirit of the fight. He pointed a finger and said "Brightflower slow him down with a String Shot!"
The Meraruba attacked as commanded, chittering a bit as it launched a string of sticky webbing at the shiny Scyther's feet.
Looking at his pokeball that held his new Nincada. He takes out is Oren Gear and Scans the Pokeball. "Nincada...female? Hmmm..." Lowering his eyes to the pokeball. "Come out, March!" Throwing his pokeball into the air and with a pop, summons the poor Nincada female that was humiliated in its capture just a short while ago.
Looking around the Nincada looks back up at to Nathan and cowars before him. Nathan crouches and holds out his hand "I'm sorry for hurting you. I want to help you grow." Misdreavus floating down to the Nincada and smiles a gentle smile. Nincada slowly crawling away. "March, she won't hurt you anymore. Please, We want to be your friend." The Nincada looking at both of them with a worried look. Nathan holds out his hand to the scared Nincada and smiles at her and says "You need not to be afraid anymore." continuing to smile. The Nincada looking at his hand and slowly crawls up to it and licks it. Nathan giggles "Heheh, that tickled." The Nincada cheers up and jumps into Nathan. Nathan hugs his new parter and Misdreavus nuzzles up to both of them. Nathan puts his harm around June as well. "Heheheheh!" Smiling and feeling happy.
*Russle Russle SWOOSH*
Scyther: "SCYTAAAAHH"
Nathan Jumps out of the way with his pokemon in his arms, they all turn to see the Scyther. "A Scyther? Here?" Sees two more Scyther jump out. "Oh no..." slowly sneaking away with his two pokemon in his arms and makes it away from them. "Well well, this will be...be..." looking at his two pokemon and they both have worried faces again. "...difficult." Then he hears the others start to go at it. "Hmmm..." looking at his partners "well we might wanna stay out of this...but then again that wouldn't be appropriate now would it now?" Standing up and runs up behind the group. "Alright then, we'll be here to assist." Getting into a confidant stance and glaring at the Scyther. "We won't let them go without giving them something to remember."
This may seem harsh but it's all part of my plan >
The lead Scyther filled with rage as the boy claimed that it was his. This Scyther didn't need a trainer. It had become powerful on it's own and was going to continue getting stronger without anyone else's help. The boy's Meraruba attacked it with a String Shot. Suddenly the Scyther disappeared and the String Shot fell to the ground.
Lead Scyther: Scy-THER!
The unusual Scyther had used Quick Attack but instead of going for the Meraruba it had reappeared in front of the trainer. It delivered an upwards kick to the trainer that sent him flying backwards. The Scyther now turned it's attention to the other Trainers around it.
The next Scyther set it's sights on the tall girl after it saw her release two Pokemon. I easily dodged the attack of the Ancient Turtle Pokemon before speeding towards the Lotad. They were incredibly slow compared to the Mantis Pokemon. The Scyther was hit by the Lotad's Astonish attack but it didn't even flinch.
*Slam*
The Lotad hit the ground hard after being hit by a pointblank Silver Wind attack from the Scyther.
The last Scyther focused it's attention on a boy and his Shroomish. The Mushroom Pokemon charged it hoping to perform a Tackle attack. It stood it's ground and as the Shroomish drew closer a shadow began to envelop on of the Scyther's blades. When the Shroomish was just about to make contact the Scyther lifted it's blade and performed a Night Slash.
Scyther: "Siiiiii"
The Scyther yelled triumphantly as it's foe was hurled onto the ground.
