While there are some severely messed up things about the pokemon universe this angle's a new one on me... Pokemon is a show/game where kids enslave what appear to be fully sentient wild creatures, imprison them in cramped plastic balls and then order them to brutalize each other, and he fixates on the designation 'pokemon master'? I mean, ok the man has imagination but there's plenty of material without even bothering to make things up. I still play it of course, or would if I hadn't lost my DS, but a sufficiently devoted nutcase could easily make it out to be a blight on today's youth with a little basic research.
