Pokemon RP Slots closed Chapter 11: I'm on a boat!

Magnus continued "Theres more of them then there is us so go ahead" Rodney's face turned red and he muttered out "Oh yeah..." turning his attention back to the Rattata sitting infront of them nibbling at the food he said "Hey you! Rattata I want to battle you!" the small purple Rat immediately jumped up and adopted a fighting stance "Chompers, tackle now!" Chompers lowered his head and set straight off at the Rattata, it dodged and hit Chompers in the back with a quick attack. "I know what will slow him down! Chompers weigh down his fur with water gun!" Chompers spat out water on the Rattata knocking it back and soaking it Rodney continued "Chompers, go for another tackle." Again Chompers bowed his head and this time connected with the Rattata. Rodney got his arm ready and said "Ok, first catch ever! go POKEBALL!" the red and white orb connected with the soaked rat and absorbed him in a ray of red light light, the ball then began to wobble violently from side to side glowing red every few seconds, until finally *bing!* the ball stopped moving and the Pokemon was caught. Rodney picked up the ball triumphantly and turned to the group "Oh yeah!" was all he managed to say.

"Good job Rodney. You have yourself a new Pokemon." He patted Rodney on the shoulder. "You guys should see if the rest of you can't catch something." He called out Quillz. "In the meantime, I'm going to do a little training." He saw a rather strong looking Sentret and adopted a battle stance. "Quillz, use Flame Wheel!" She curled into a ball, and attacked the Sentret, catching it off guard and damaging it severely, causing it to faint. He continued this trend of fighting wild pokemon while the others dealt with their attempts at capture.

Jared had also passed on said Rattata, "It's OK, man, s'all yours. Me and Nicky are doing pretty good over here." The Rattata were jumping out of the bushes as the trainers passed by, and Nicky's Double Kick was dispatching them all nicely.

"nah it`s cool I mean it`s just a Rattata what could you do with it besides target practice oh and on that note" Jeffery leaned in on riolu and said "time to strike, give one of em a quick attack" he then leaned straight up and yelled "NOW" riolu disappeared in a flash and bolted at an unsuspecting rattata and jump kicked it in the head sending it into another rattata knocking them both out
"OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH DOUBLE HIT" Jeffery yelled "ah that cheered me up" he said with a sigh

Ooc: "Studying" through Crystal now , also fine if you lot don't want Hyperfang.

Rodney examined the pokeball which held the Rattata and said "What should I name you? well you dodged Chompers very easily so how about....Speedy, yeah that's it speedy!" Rodney proud of having a new friend pressed on with new resolve towards Pewter city.

They reached Viridian city just before the sunset and made it to the Pokemon center.
"Why Hello, welcome to the Viridian City Pokemon Center. I'm Nurse Joy, welcome." She smiled brightly, her bouncing as she did.
"We need our Pokemon healed please. Oh, and we'll be staying the night." He handed the pokeball with Quillz to her and the rest of the group handed their pokeballs to her as well
"I'll be right back with them."

Five minutes later...

"There, your pokemon are all healed. Enjoy your stay here."
"Thank you ma'am, we will." Magnus smiled at her and went into one of the bunkrooms, set down his stuff, and took Quillz to take a bath.

Ooc: Pokemon adventure time! note at this point you become your main pokemon and essentially just to serve as some fun while your character is inactive.

Chompers didn't feel like sleeping he went and woke up speedy "Hey,hey,hey! speedy! wanna play!" Rodney awoke and simply shot Chompers a quick look before falling asleep. Speedy got up and told Chompers "Ok, I'll play what do you want play though?" Chompers took Speed by the paw and dragged him outside behind the Pokemon center. "See the big hill?" Chompers asked Speedy who replied "Yeah what's with it?".

Before Chompers even responded he spat out a small river's worth of water and placed Speedy on his head "Hold tight!" he said as he jumped down the large hillside. All that Chompers heard was "AAAAAAAH!!!" coming from Speedy as they raced down the hill.

Quillz shook the water out of her fur after being bathed, quite vigorously, by Magnus. She didn't actually mind the water that much for a fire-type pokemon. Baths and showers didn't bother her, but being hit in the face with a Water Gun would bother her as much as anyone else. She walked around and saw Chompers and the newest member of the group, Speedy, careening down a stream of water downhill. While Chompers seemed to enjoy it, Speedy looked like he was going to faint. She ran down to the bottom of the hill and caught up with them as they slowed to the bottom.
"Are you okay? You look like you didn't enjoy that very much." She asked Speedy.
"That...was...horrible..." Speedy stammered shakily.
"Yeah, it looked like it. Oh, we've not been introduced yet. I'm Quillz, I'm the pokemon of the human with the blonde hair and the bicycle." Quillz greeted Speedy to the group. "It's nice to have you with us." She shook herself again, shaking off more trapped water.

OOC: How old would you say Speedy is? I get the impression that he's like an adolescent. What do you think SC?

Ooc: Yeah in human terms about 9-10, Chompers is a very immature 11 year old. Again in human terms though.

Chompers looked at small group assembled and said "Hey guys wanna go wake up that strange Pokemon Rosgry? and see if he wants to play? while we're at it let's wake up all our humans Pokemon. I'll open the Pokeballs because my hands work best. Say guys what's it like inside a pokeball?"

Ooc: How old is everyone's pokemon while we're at it? I also should've said Speedy is meant to work like an anti-chompers of sorts,she'll play yes but he is timid and jumpy....on reflection she's a her now. Yeah I can do that shit

OOC:Quillz is the equal of a 21 yr old human..hence the reason she's lost her virginity before her trainer...rofl

"What, you mean you've never been inside one before? That's kind of weird." Quillz told Chompers. "Nah, I say we should let them sleep. Everyone's had a hard day, let them get some rest. I'm just outside right now because Magnus is out hunting and he doesn't want me to get dirty again. He just got all the...mess... out of my fur." She shakes the remainder of the water out of her fur and heaved a sigh of relief. "There, I think that's all the water." She let our her flames and steam wafted off of her fur.

Chompers looked saddened, "aww ok" Speedy asked "What does she mean by "...mess"?" Chompers pulled an awkward face and walked off saying "I'll tell you later ok? for now I guess we can go to sleep"

The pokemon head inside, after Quillz says goodnight to her friends she hops up on Magnus's bed and lays down to wait for him to return.

An hour after dark, Magnus returns from his hunting trip, having killed nothing this night. Quillz wakes up and walks over to him, rubbing against his leg.
"Thanks, you know how to cheer me up." Magnus told her. He changed into his pajamas, picked her up and got into bed, with her laying down right next to his pillow. That night, the two sleep soundly, awaiting the next day's adventure.

Chapter 2: The Journey Begins...For Real

The next morning, Magnus woke up refreshed and well-rested, at about 8 o'clock. Quillz was laying on her side next to his face twitching in a dream. He carefully got up and walked to the bathroom to get ready for the day. After he had brushed his teeth and done his business, he walked back into the room to get dressed. Quillz had woken up and was sitting on the bed, with a tuft of her fur sticking up on her head.
"Nice bedhead, Quillz." He told her. She looked at him funnily and then licked her paws and proceeded to groom herself. Magnus took off his pajamas, changed into a clean pair of clothes, and folded his pj's and the previous day's outfit and tucked them into his bag.

Magnus walked with Quillz into the lobby, he poured her a bowl of Pokemon food and found some pastries and hot beverages for the trainers. He sat down with a doughnut and some hot tea, watching the morning news.

Jeffery rolled out of his bed and landed with a thud waking riolu in the process, who was obviously annoyed and was kicking jeffery in the head
"OW stop that would ya" Jeffery said grabbing riolu by the foot hanging him upside down and walking into the lobby greeting the others trainers, who looked at him strangely for he still had riolu by the foot, even as he poured some coffee and sat down at the table with the other trainers
"uhhhhh why do you have riolu by the foot" magnus asked pointing at riolu
"this is how I discipline him, but it is getting annoying better let him go" he simply replied, he then threw riolu against a wall, still drinking his coffee, he looked up at the T.V watching the news:
TROUBLE IN SAFFRON was the headline as the reporter started to talk about a team rocket
attack most of the town was evacuated but some were still there and many Pokemon were stolen.
"We have to do something" Jeffery said with an air of confidence about himself.
"what could we do" Trevor responded obviously trying to put Jeffery back in reality
"Duh we could help and rescue Pokemon" Jeffery talked back trying to convince everybody.

OOC: I`D say that would be sufficient journey.

Rodney was shocked, "Team Rocket? their back?" Chompers was already trying to bite at the screen, rodney held him back and said "Calm down boy we still have to go through Pewter city to get to Saffron anyhow."

As the group set off again they discussed what they would too with the resurgence of Team Rocket, Rodney suggested that they simply continue on their path as normal and deal with the Rockets as they came, it was far too early in their journey to take on a criminal empire.

Magnus sipped his tea and took a bite of his donut.
"Calm down guys, there's nothing we can do. We're a hundred miles away, by the time we get there the authorities will have taken care of everything. Besides, this isn't the first time Saffron has been taken over by Team Rocket. It'll sort itself out in no time." He sipped his tea again and turned up the TV for the others to hear better.

The news report was today "Today in Johto, Sinnoh and Hoenn museums have been simaltaenously pillaged by rocekt members, it is unknown at this time what the group plans to do. Police were unavailable for questioning....hold on, this just in! other broken up gangs such as Team Aqua and Team Magma have joined together unfer the Rocket Banner, it is a sad day for the Poke world" Rodney turned to Magnus and said "Yeah that wasn't so much better news as it was horrifying!"

"oh god it`s over it`s all over life as we know it is over" Jeffery said his face planted on the table.
"okay let`s recap team magma,team aqua and team rocket have all joined forces and are starting to take over the world yeah I`d say we`re doomed" Jeffery said in frustration
"hell it`s not long before they start coming here, then what" Jeffery said looking around at the others.

 

[Mookie_Magnus]

"What the fuck? This makes no sense. Why would Aqua and Magma join Rocket? They hated each other in the past, now they unite under one banner? Wait, SINNOH! That means-" Magnus was cut off by the television which said.
"We have just received word that the remnants of Team Galactic of Sinnoh have united under Team Rocket as well. What these criminals have in store, I have no idea...I pray that..that someone out there... can help us."
Magnus stared blankly at the screen. He had no idea what to think.
"Hey guys.. isn't there a Museum in Pewter City?" Magnus asked.
"Yeah there is." Rodney exclaimed. "You don't think that they're there..do you?"
Magnus nodded and stuffed the donut in his mouth and gulped the rest of his tea.
"Rodney, Jeff, wake up the rest of our group. Tell them to get ready to leave in an hour. We're going to Pewter City..."

"got it" Jeffery then bolted back into the rooms and awoke the others
"what`s going on" Trevor said staring blankly at Jeff still half-asleep
"no time to explain guys just be ready to leave in an hour we have`nt got much time" Jeffery then ran back to the lobby to tell magnus and Rodney that he woke the others .
"okay there up but what are going to do in pewter city it`s not like five teenagers and one adult could fight them off hell five teenagers and one adult could barely get us cheap tickets into a theme park".
