People still buy guides? I always just use Gamefaqs.
Came here to say this. I didn't realise people still bought those things since the internet was invented :|
Sometimes its nice to play the game outside or in some other area where a computer isn't handy. Thats what I do, and I do have a laptop. Still nice to have a portable guide. Colorful pictures is fun too!

But I agree, I got the guide and its like 1/5th the size of the Pokemon Platinum guide. My hopes are not high... Too bad you can't use that one for this game.

Worst Guide ever was the Final Fantasy Tactics ULTIMATE Guide.

I bought it for like 25 bucks, and it sucked.
I call foul sir, do you remember the FF9 guide. pretty much every where it just said "go to (some website I can't remember) for more details". It's like, thanks dick I coulda done that without buying this.

Well just to point out, the guide is two parts, so you only have half a guide. Kinda lame, I know. They're going to be releasing the second half soon, if they haven't already. I don't know why it was all released in the same book.

Or wait... what guide are you using? Prima or Nintendo's official guide?

Also, if you want a good Pokedex, use Veekun.com
Every other pokedex is terrible and doesn't even have a proper search function and doesn't give a good list of movesets.

It is prima and im returning the piece of garbage in a few moments.
Also i will not pay $40 for two players guides for a $30 dollar game the company that made these guides can fuck off.

Oh, yeah! That site's also great for generating breeding chains to, say, get Rock Slide onto Machamp.
