in the next pokemon they should put multiple file spaces. It has been maddening, i some times want to play my little brothers pokemons but because the things only take one file i cant.
That would ruin the point because everyone would just load a new save file start with a different stater file and then trade with a friend and then trade back and you would have 3 very strong complimentary Pokemon from the word go.
well you cant trade between files and it would be plenty good, that way you wont need to go buy 3 copies of the same damn game.
How would they stop you from trading?
Surely by doing that they would be shooting themselves in the foot.
easy, on less the way trades work is different now. To trade you need to working games of the same general branch on and connected with each other. Having multiple files would mean one is off. So you just cant go into the file your not playing and trade it off there since you would need to find a way to make that seem like active.
But theres nothing stopping you trading ,loading another, save file and trading again.

1. A genocide against every race of Pokemon beyond 152.

2. Real-time combat.

3. A far darker storyline, possibly with the legendary Pokemon actually going out and destroying things, rather than sitting in a cave patiently waiting for a trainer to catch/kill them.

4. An MMO run by Nintendo with real-time combat and the ability to catch wild critters as Pokemon.
My f*cking totodile.

I would really want Pokemon to actually allow more modification to your character. Specifically aside from gender there can be:
Age (which is either young, adult or elderly so you have a trainer either a kid, adult or old person, because we're all grown up, we don't wanna be kids always).
Weight (basically, if you're slim or large to put it politely, again to add to the model of the trainer you'll be)
Hair/eye colour
Live in a town/city (because it's kinda repetitive to ALWAYS be from a small town living with your mom. If you're a kid you'll automatically be given a parent, but adult or elderly you live on your own)
And that's about it. If you get those specifics down, Pokemon will be more interesting for replay value.
Also because everyone is crazy about character creation.

I know I was beaten to this, but there must be pokemon dying. For instance: if your level 100 creature attacks a level 3 thing, there is no way in hell that it just "faints." That little annoyance is dead. Smeared. Just plain gone. Plus, you could make ghost pokemon at will.

it needs some fucking innovation. the franchise litterally hasn't changed its gameplay one bit since red/blue, even the graphics look virtually the same and its been a long time (3D my ass).

but I guess thats the nintendo way these days...
These days? When have nintendo ever had orgininality?
good point I guess the answer is when I was new to it all (N64/gameboy classic)

I think it could use more RPG elements (and yeah an MMO could be epic)

perhaps using all six pokemon at the same time with some classed as Tanks, some as DPS and some as healers - it would mean that your mix of pokemon actually meant something more than just their paper scissors rock system that they use... or maybe I just play MMO's too much?

Pokemon is fine the way it is it's like reinventing Basketball.

The basic formula for Pokemon must not change but an online component or an MMO with extensive customisation, many more Pokemon and good player vs player would be awesome.

1) Make it reasonably possible to catch em all by cutting down the amount of pokemon or having all pokemon in the 2 games without downloading items using wi fi, special events transferring from older games.

2) Have two sets of worlds like in silver, on second thoughs make it so you can go to the regions from ALL the previous games.

1. All pokemon past emerald obliterated from existence aside from the legendaries. I would say past 151, but I've gotten used the all the ones from gold-emerald, and they're not THAT bad. At least they didn't try to make evolutions for the older pokemon (electivire (RAGE)).

2. An MMO. FFS, make one already!

3. A game that includes every area up to and including the Hoen (sp) region.

A Pokemon MMO would be fun, but if that were the case, I'd like fewer/more difficult to obtain legendaries. They're pretty much handed out multiple times in every game. Sure a team of glowing dragon-birds is cool, but it kind of kills the whole "legendary" aspect.

A more elaborate storyline would also be appreciated. I'd like my Pokemon to be more like characters than tools, but maybe I'm just too sentimental. XD

In terms of gameplay, though, faster moving/more dynamic battles, but other than that, I like Pokemon combat.

They need to include all the pokemon in the version along with the other suggesstions made. I'm tired of having to trade with old versions to get every freakin pokemon. Just make them all available

No stupid split of pokemon between versions, More bizzare type combintations, New moves, and a way to speed up battles. When I was young and had only an Emulator (I was young! I didnt even know Gameboy existed! now I have a DS, Legal!), I could hold Space to speed the game. In the consoles I can't do that, and the battles can get so frustrating when I already know the outcome and just want to go to the next battle ><

And maybe a little God of War style combat in special places, like the contests but another part of the game. Could be awsome if it isn't like that all the time and has a neat set set of rules and moves.

Okay, here are ALL of my thoughts about the Pokemon franchise:

Ahem...

I really love playing Pokemon and I love how it has evolved since Red/Blue version. The part with all of the new Pokemon, which totals up to 450 something, it should just end right there, no more new Pokemon. The last Pokemon, Arceus, the Pokedex says that it's "The God of all Pokemon." So, I mean, where are you gonna go from there? Seriously, no more new Pokemon, we have enough, thank you.

The plot:
Yeah, they should come out with a new kind of pokemon game with a more involved storyline that is darker than what it is right now. I really thought that they had it going when they came out with Pokemon Colosseum and XD. It was fun, dark, the bad guys were... slightly more sinister and evil than the gay bumbling team rocket or galactic. I once read a fanfiction that made team Galactic look like the most evil, badass bastards to ever roam the country. Thse guys had Bombs, guns, were freaking criminal masterminds, and it took an entire police force, army, and military to SURVIVE ONE ATTACK against a town, instead of all of them being taken out by a single KID. And when I actually saw what they actually are like in the game I was like o_O what the heck? These guys suck! So, yeah, better villains with a better storyline. And make sure that everybody that you meet isn't completely stupid or not right in the head to some degree, because that really gets annoying. I hate how the plot is focusing on little kids when older teens are playing this too. They risk alienating most of their gamers by doing this. It is possible to make a story that's fun for little kids, yet dark enough for adults.

Gameplay:
I really liked out4blood4's gameplay ideas, those should be incorporated into the game as well. The online MMO is really interesting too, but I wouldn't care if it wasn't in there. Customizable characters need to be in there too. Pokemon Revolution tried this attempt and it kinda' flopped, if it had been better then I would've suggested that. No more HMs because that gets really really annoying that you have to keep switching to your HM slave. And you also can't delete the HMs unless you find the freaking Move Deleter, which just makes it really really inconvenient.

NO MORE EVENT POKEMON!!!
Dear God! This one ticks me off the most. They have an event, like in Florida where if you live somewhere far away from that place, you'd have to charter a plane in order to get there, which your whole trip is going to total a whopping $1500 or more JUST FOR A PIECE OF DATA. It is seriously not worth that, it is so much easier (and cheaper) to buy an Action Replay and use that to get them, which makes your feel like a big cheater in the long run. Stop with the event Pokemon, it's annoying, and stupid. If you're gonna make the legendary Pokemon, then have it so that it is actually possible to get them in the game instead of going to these stupid events.

To put more emphasis on what would make a good game, I think that they should go back to making something like Colosseum and XD. I really liked it. It was new, interesting, and it put a whole new perspective about what the Pokemon world could evolve into and what it can easily become, not just "I'm gonna become the greatest Pokemon Master EVAAAAR! Gotta Catch 'Em All!" Put a new direction into Pokemon and it could be the greatest game in Pokemon ever.

I think that's all I have on my mind about Pokemon.

Hello everyone... TSD here spreading it down for Pokemon... Now I have been a fan of Nintendo for a long time, and the thing that made get hooked on Nintendo was pokemon.. Now i know people began hating pokemon for many reasons.. but im here wondering... what is pokemon lacking?...What is bad about it, what maked you want to buy the next PKMN Hit.... please tell me.. I have some ideas for a pokemon game of the top if my head..

1. A pokemon game like pokemon stadium - XD gale of darkness... because DS hardware is now getting into 3D why can't there be a pokemon game like that?

2. Customise your own character... to add variety to online and every new journey you begin.

3. Give you pokemon items to wear....

etc. please people share with me your ideas....
1.) Yeah.. Those were fun.

2.) They kinda did that in Battle Revolution, but botched almost everything else. Just do that, but a little better.

3.) No. Well, maybe. But until I can think of how that can be well implemented, no.

4.) New ideas: Real time combat was a good one, i've always wanted that. Maybe co-op, like in D-P-Pt with the cpu trainers, but with a friend walking around with you, making everything 2v2. Aaaaannnnddddd...... I cant really think of anything else. I'm gonna go play Ogre Battle.... WAIT! Maybe a pokemon RTS.... devloped by Blizzard ^_^

EDIT: oh, and the whole "genocide of the 152+ pokemon", I don't know. I rather like some of the newer ones (like Gallade, Blaiken, and Brelloom). Maybe a genocide of all the stupid ones, like Bidoof.
I love your ideas.
