Pokemon white and black legendaries

The Pokemon White and Black versions have been announced.

I personally think these look pretty cool. Much better than the starters that were announced anyways.

Edit: Reshiram is the black legendary
Zekrom, is the white legendary

Zekrom looks quite good, Reshiram looks like they grafted a dog's head onto a giant white deformed chicken.

OT: The Dark one looks pretty cool
The White one looks like it has only survived because it was tube fed in a laboratory. It just... Is odd.

Black's looks better, but White's isn't all that bad.

I'll have to wait and see what the other pokemon look like. My bet is that they'll look insanely silly.

Zekrom looks like a cross between Mewtwo, Palkia and Darkrai. And then colored Black.

Ugh, I hate both of them. Then again I haven't been a big fan of any of the new legendaries. I think my biggest problem with the new Pokemon, but the legendaries in particular, is that they put to much detail into the sprites. They try hard to make them look good, but they end up adding to many things to them and they look like a jumbled mess. I'd prefer it if they took a more simplistic approach when designing the new Pokemon. Sure some of the Pokemon could be bland because of this, but sometimes less is better than more.

I am not impressed. Not that the pokemon look bad (the Black one looks pretty sweet), but with the title "Legendary"....They've already made a God pokemon, how much more powerful can it get?

Ah yes, another problem I have with the new legendaries. Their roles in the Pokemon universe continue to become increasingly ridiculous. Last game there was a Pokemon who really was the God of all Pokemon (and you could catch him, which seems like an easy way to cause the apocalypse). I can't even imagine what purpose these new ones serve though hopefully it will be more tame than the last generation.

Personally i think there are too many 'humanoid' Pokemon in the newer editions. i know that they've used a wide variety of animals as base models already but I still think they could be a little more inventive.

Both the Japanese and English official sites have announced the new Legendaries for the upcoming Pokémon Black and White: Reshiram (レシラ&#12512 and Zekrom (ゼクロ&#12512. The former will be featured in Black Version, while the latter will be in White. According to the Japanese site, the two Pokémon have a strong connection to the history of Isshu and are key to the games' story. The two Pokémon will be featured on the covers of their respective games.

The names of the two Pokémon are confirmed to be the international names.

Additionally, Black and White have been confirmed for a spring 2011 release date in both North America and Europe, as announced by a press release on Nintendo of America's official website.
