I don't think I want DLC for Pokemon...I think the furthest I'd go is new Mega Evolutions, but flat-out new Pokemon would remove the "magic" and "feels" of a new generation.

I don't see what I'd want outside of that, and I'd be fine with nothing at all.
Any new Pokemon they'd release would just probably be the cutesy legendaries that are only available via distribution events.

This, ...well maybe not the Mega Evolutions part as I hardly use them save for when I really can't afford to waste a turn setting up for an attack boost. I feel there's nothing wrong with waiting for and getting Z (or X2 & Y2 if they go that route like last gen, though that may be unlikely) instead, it is what we've (or at least, I've) been doing for more than a decade now.

More trainer customisation, especially for males. Their options are severely lacking compared to the ladies'.
Are you kidding? Guy's got the better, more varied options. If you're playing as a lady, your options are to dress very skimpy or wear a dress. And pretty much all of it will be in very girly colors.

But yes, more customization items would be nice.

And if Game Freak is hinting at what I think they're hinting at, we'll be seeing some new legendaries and Mega evolutions.
What do male trainers get?

Shorts, which look horrible.
Fedoras, natch.
Some sort of puffy jacket? I don't know.
The dreaded v-neck t-shirt!
And a shirt that looks like someone's vomited on it
All of this in a variety of garish colour schemes!

And the hairstyles! Well, there really aren't any. And in this modern works where hair dyes are a thing... apparently they aren't in Pokémon.

The girls get to wear kneesocks, man.

But look at all the blasted frills and exposed skin we're stuck with!

You at least get proper hoodies.

I'm seeing a lot of jeans, long coats and reasonable T-shirts. The frilly exposed stuff seems to be an exception not a rule.

Plus when male characters wear jeans and sneakers it looks like they've tucked their trousers into their shoes. Any idea how stupid that looks?

it probably going to be clothes and accessories for the trainer, and unless they allow me to dress up like Mei or Touko I can't see myself buying anything :/

still other regions would be cool, like if they did special sections of different regions where you can battle and catch different pokemon, that would be kinda cool

Clothing, accessories, Pokeball skins, that kind of thing...

More importantly, they should have downloadable events. Real events that add in small or new areas with new trainers to fight, with the dungeon or area culminating in the player getting a chance to catch a legendary Pokemon pertinent to the story of said area.

So basically real DLC. I wonder how possible that would be...

I mean, DLC means downloadable content. Which means that they have been doing such a thing since the Gameboy era.

If you have to download it, it's DLC. There is no "real" DLC.

It's also not like they haven't done that before. Victini and Celebi both had story related events that occured once they were inside your game. As well as Arceus. So it's far from not possible.

The thing is is that Satoshi is against paid DLC period. So the chances of having something blocked behind a paywall is near non existent. It will just be an event download like everything else.

I found the post game to be so underwelming, and besides what is up with that ghost girl in lumiose? Maybe a dlc sidequest about her. Also as anyone figured how to enter the other power plants?

And the male customisation could receive a bit of atention. maybe some better acessories and more pokémon related hats. Plus more guy hairstyles would be nice.

I'd like some kind of end-game after you've beaten the elite four, where you play as the champion and have to hold your title against other trainers. It's always seemed weird to me that you beat the elite for and you can just go back and beat them again and again. At least in X and Y the champion recognises that you've beaten her before. Though I don't think I'd actually pay for any Pokemon DLC, or DLC for any handheld game to be honest.

There are Elite four rematches, its just really weird. You have to go through that battle mansion thing that's on route 7. Bascially when you get to a high enough rank the gym leaders appear, then the elite four. You can get Pokemon up to level 90 facing you there, its just a grind to actually unlock them.

It's not a proper hoodie if, and bear with me here, you can't wear the hood.

Goddamnit I just noticed the girls get sodding waistcoats too!

Well, there kinda is.
In the past, any event Pokémon unobtainable through other legitimate means has always been on the cart, just locked away. You could hack one for yourself just fine.

Real DLC would be any addition that isn't in the original files.

Oh you mean the battle Chateau :D Yeah I'm aware of those rematches and I've already reached the Duke title and I've met Wikstrom and Malva, but it just doesn't cut it.

When I say rematch I mean a proper round two in the Pokemon League Six on Six held item battle.

That being said I do love the Battle Chateau, I usually spend most of my time there plus it's great when your low on money.

Just put and amulet coin on one of your Pokemon and go beat up some rich folk.

A Ladder tournament. Like how the Pokemon league was in the show. It's you VS other trainers, all with six Pokemon. Round after round you get to fight till you are crowed the victor, or till you yourself get knocked out.
Can even add fun things like talking to people and learning more about the other top trainers, figuring out there Pokemon and moves. Give some real threat in there ya know? I went through the E4 with ONE Pokemon, I want to really feel the heat.
Can add some cool prizes too, like you can pick a rare item, a rare Pokemon, a huge cash prize or whatever else game freak can think up. Maybe even rare TMs. Maybe have two types of tournaments too, one that locks your guys at 50 and one that locks your guys at 100.

A hard-mode dungeon that requires lvl 100 pokemon, and can go 50+ floors deep, almost any pokemon can show up, no pokecenters, and maybe limited items (if that can be done)
I think this would be a great way to make all of the Pokemon from previous generations available, including legendaries. Maybe have a random legendary appear on the lowest floor of the dungeon?
