This video shows police officer Paul Sheen brutally beating a 15 year old girl. All this shit over the girl resisting to give him her shoe. Yea her shoe. This isn't the first time Paul Sheen has attacked someone. He has killed two people in 2002 and in 2006. What are your thoughts? Isn't this disgusting? I personally think that this officer should be fired and jailed.

I personally would've just thrown her shoe in the toilet and locked the CELL DOOR, but, hey... I guess I don't have the "lateral thinking" that being a power abusing asshole requires.

I wish I were shocked by this. I used to study reporting in Hartford. One of the officers I interviewed shot an unarmed 14-year-old in the back. He wasn't punished.

The real problem is that many police officers are corrupt, and figure themselves above the law, even though they need to be the most under it. I may be a little cynical because of the cops within the area that I live.

Corrupt people make corrupt cops, which is all the worse for everyone.

Not all cops are like this jerkwad though. The average cop is actually a person who wants to do some good for the community. The problems lie with the corrupt ones, acting like a cancer in order to infest the good parts.
Fired and jail time is what this guy deserves.

I should be bothered by it, but I'm not. In my opinion, cops have not enough power, they should be a tiny step above the law, hell, a cop can't even protect him/herself when (s)he is attacked because it could count as "excessive force". What I mean is: If someone threatens someone else with a knife(or other sharp/blunt object), cops should be allowed to break a limb to get that weapon, if someone threatens someone else with a gun, they can kill that person.

On topic:

No, he didn't have to do that given the information I have here, which isn't enough.

Why was she sent to that cell?
What did she say before she was sent to that cell?
And finally, why the hell didn't she just give her shoes to the cop?

I think about 80% of cops are complete dicks who are getting back at society for them being picked on when they were in school and the other 20% are just people who said, " Well, I need to get a job and I'd prefer one where I can sit in a car most of the day. Maybe limo driver, pizza guy, or a cop?"

That was pretty hardcore. Why did he freak out so bad? But just one more douche cop that gives the rest a bad rap, so cockoffs like the captain and Huey1000 can say shit like that.

Looks like she threw her shoes at the cop by flicking them off of her feet which I suppose if anybody did that it would result in them being slammed into the wall and then thrown on the ground. By her body language it was obvious that she was giving the officers lip, again, another stupid thing to do.

But no, she didn't deserve that amount of brutality (or any at all) and the police should have shown restraint when dealing with her. Any cop worth their badge should not deal with a 15 year old like that.

However I have not seen the big picture so I could be wrong.

Actually, come to think about it, it would be interesting to see what landed her in that cell and see if anybodies opinion changes.

That's seriously fucked up, that hard a beating is fucking crazy, and on a 15 yr old girl? Fucking throw this prick in prison, let him have someone twice his size beat the fuck out of him.

I swear, police seem to really think they can go aggro on people and get away with it, it's ridiculous.

Edit:

If a police woman had done the beating I wouldn't have cared, I don't mind police not taking shit, but he had such an advantage over her it's bullshit. Still, reading the full article (and if it was completely true) the kid needed discipline in the first place, and even though he wasn't the one who should have delivered it she still annoys the crap out of me.

Hey! That looks like the same cell where the cops beat the crap out of Alex after he was arrested in Clockwork Orange!

As far as the beating, all cops are trained and given the right to make decisions about who to smack around and how hard to do it. Some of them make their decisions based on reason, and others just go ape-shit because their brains don't work normally. All people in all fields are like that. The key is there are supposed to be rules in place to remove these people when they make who they are obvious.

The weird thing is, if this guy has done this before, then he shouldn't be allowed to stay in a position where he can keep doing it. Yes, he's a stupid thug, but the people who are worse are those who'd defend him or at least not do their jobs taking his.
