The mother is one to talk when she has to enroll her kid into a 'school for behavioral issues'. She can't take care of her own kid. And the kid seems like an ass who's getting off Scott free without any family punishment whatsoever for his actions.

If this was the third time cops had to come to a school to save teachers from the beast child, they Should have used the pepper spray. At least teach the little fucker that his crap-flinging results in punishment.

At first when I read the news I thought the police were acting out of line. That was until I read the multiple stories and saw the videos. He was throwing desks! He freaked out to a point that two teachers feared for their lives. That's messed up. Then he was expelled, with further proves that he's a freaking liability.

I'm wondering something: it says that he was the only one in the class. So did the other students evacuate or was he literally bad enough to be a single-class student with Two teachers?

Seriously, folks? A fucking 8 year old is now a threat? I don't care what he was throwing or what he was sharpening. It's a god damned 8 year old. Not exactly a super ninjitsu master.

1) Walk up to kid who is probably (somehow) swinging shit at you.
2) Catch whatever it is he is swinging/jabbing at you before it hits.
3) Take it away by force, by moving it higher than he is.
4) Bonk kid upside the head.
5) ???
6) PROFIT!

How hard can it be? It's not an adult, he has no experience, and, well... does this seriously need to be argued over? A fucking 8 year old requires a squad of police to mace him to 'defuse' the situation? Really damn complicated situation it is. An 8 year old has a tantrum in class. Truly, future terrorist, ladies and gents. *sigh* What a country.

Kid seems to have a hormone imbalance, pepper spray was the perfect tool for this job, no permanent damage, no alternatives would have worked. It kind of reminds me of that episode of House where that boy goes full on raging and bites the doctor.

Can't shoot the kid kuz that's a bit much, could have given him an old fashioned beat down but that does actually put officers at risk for injury and puts the kid at greater risk of injury. So yeah pepper spray was perfect for the job.

Now I just hope there is some proper follow up and his rage issues are fully investigated and solved.

Justified, let's hope he learned no to swing goddamn sticks at people.

Just watched the video, his mother is a crap excuse for a parent. Someone should be taught accountability

Not fully aware of his actions my ass.
thank you. i hate people who refuse to discipline their kids then blame others for the kids actions

It was completely justified, considering this was the third run in the kid had with police.

Does anyone else think the kid kinda looks like the younger Michael Myers from the Halloween remake?

It's pepper spray, it's not like they shot him, he'll get over it and learn a valuable lesson, murder people in an alley where no on can see you, Location Location Location.

Take THAT, 8 year olds!

(Also there's a not insignificant chance that Murdertot Shortpants there would've been more significantly inconvenienced had the police had to physically restrain him using force rather than some other tool. Just because something gets chronically over-used doesn't necessarily mean it's automatically wrong in all situations.)

I would like to point out to the group that the stick he had was a piece a of molding that he had pulled off the wall. Witch most likely had nails sticking out of it which would make it even more dangerous to any one trying to take it away from him.

Wanted to quote you for the truth in that. And seriously, that's one screwed up kid to turn part of a wall into a deadly weapon.

Article says therapists can't find out what's wrong with the kid.

I dare suspect spontaneous and conscious cravings of murdering school teachers.

i think it is fine what they did, the kid looks ok now and if he was trying to hurt other kids then maybe it was right of them to do it

He admitted on the news to trying to injure the teachers if they came out with something he hoped to sharpen. Those teachers felt threatened enough to lock themselves away and call the police. There was enough justification to warrent a less-than-lethal take down.

If you don't mind adults getting pepper sprayed in the same situation then you should be fine with a kid getting sprayed. He should be thankful it didn't turn out worst.

Owned! If you can't keep your tard hoodlum from terrorizing other children and adults and it refuses to listen to cops then put him down yourself. Not very many second graders have multiple run-ins with cops. I agree with the pepper spray treatment. Besides, what if the police shot or tasered him? I feel like pepper spray was the most efficient and appropriate action against him.

But I thought it was after the fourth time the cops showed up for your kid that you were supposed to start paying attention!

I think the kid got off easily with only getting pepper sprayed. What that situation really called for was a good old fashioned Grade-A Ass Whoopin'.

It's too bad there is no law allowing you to be totally justified in beating the crap out of someone for being stupid, otherwise someone might be able to knock some parenting sense into that mother.

After watching the video and hearing that he's already had run ins with the police two times before, I'm going to go ahead and call it that this kid has no bright future ahead of him.
