*gasp* You forgot Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood! How could you?

Anyways, New Vegas looks pretty sweet, which is coming out next month, and AC:B is coming out in two months. So, I'm pretty stoked for the next two months. I'm not worrying so much about next year, considering I hope to get a ps2 and get started on all the older games I've been dying to finally get around to after Christmas.
Brotherhood comes out on Nov 16 2010. You know why I memorized the release date? Because it's my birthday= day 1 purchase.

YYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Portal 2, Dead Space 2, Crysis 2, and Mass Effect 2 for my PS3, alongside the possibilities of The Last Guardian and Resistance 3 being released that year, and the three "big announcements" from Valve (Whatever those end up being). Bulletstorm and Rage also look mildly interesting. So, yeah, 2011 should be a good year.

I don't know. I was thinking the exact same thing when 2010 was approaching, that it would have the best games evar, but I don't know. This year, the only games that I've gotten are: God of War 3 and Heavy Rain. Nothing more. I'm getting Enslaved later this year, and then WoW: Cataclysm, but aside from that, nothing.

While 2011 does look good, and I have a list with over 15 games to buy, I'm not sure if all of them will live up to their promises.

I did vote yes though, because I'm optimistic, and because there is no "maybe" vote.

The only game I'm moderately interested in is Fallout. The rest are a wholely uninteresting product line to me.

I suppose by mid to late 2011, Bethesda will also announce plans to make a new Elder Scrolls game. They should anyway. I'd really like to see the series continued. Bring back the epicness of Morrowind, the style of Oblivion and the flare of Fallout and put them in a game together. I might even buy the game without first waiting for the release price to drop.
Unrelated, but I had to point out that when I first saw your avatar a while back I immediately googled it and used it as a desktop. It's frickin' sweet!

Ot: Portal 2 is coming out, so it will certainly have one of the best games yet.

I look forward to Dead Space 2 and Homefront. This year should be a good year for gaming, a good year, but nothing special.

P.S. Does no one else care about Homefront?

Portal 2
Gears 3
any possible Fallout New Vegas DLCs
Diablo 3
These are all games i'm looking forward to.

ALSO: Even though there is no set release date; i'm hoping Guild Wars 2 will come out next year.

Spec Ops: The Line is coming out next year and I've been pelasently surprised after reading hands-on features of it from my Xbox magazine. I was pumped for it anyway, but the news that it's world and storytelling are becoming akin to Bioshock is very uplifting.
Also Brink looks damn fun. Shame I can't get my WoW accoutn working, Cataclysm would've been amazing to get no doubt... I'll find a way one day..

Portal 2, DNF, The Old Republic, all coming out the same year? Of course I'm totally excited for 2011. Until Valve pushed Portal 2 to January 2012, DNF is all just a joke, and The Old Republic fails to do anything new or exciting.

Duke Nukem Forever (this is amazing, some people just don't get how much of a big deal this is for people who grew up in the era it was announced)

Mortal Kombat, Portal 2, The Old Republic, Rage, From Dust

Meh. Everything either has way too vague of a window of release or gets shoved out the door before it's ready. Either way it ends up being overhyped or full of bugs 'n stupid shit. I can't even think of any games that I know without a doubt even come out next year. Lack of research on my part, or just the simple fact that I don't and will not care once I get fallout new vegas and Civ V; it'll probably last me through the year.

You forgot about Duke and Deus Ex.
This might be a truly awesome year.
I did consider getting Deus Ex 3, but I have seen the gameplay and was quite underwhelmed. Maybe if it starts to look better then I'll consider it.

P.S. My name isn't OP.

Dead Space 2. Expectations: High. Want. I've seen hate towards Dead Space for not being scary in the "right way" among other things, but I thought it was perfect. If they do much of the same thing and don't ruin it with poor experimentation, I will be highly pleased. Yeah, it's pretty much a cliche the way they used gore and shadows and lighting. It was also truly awesome to play in a dark room alone at night. And you just had to feel like a badass playing as Isaac. I hope they recapture the atmosphere while finding ways to enhance the gameplay and don't fall totally flat on the story.
