Well, when you're asking a somewhat-bias PC gamer who thinks dual-analog controls are outright horrible, what do you expect the answer to be?

(P.S. I'm a somewhat-bias PC gamer who thinks dual-analog controls are outright horrible.)

EDIT: If you still didn't get it, I voted for PC, mostly because I hate dual analog controls.

The game is better in many ways on PC, but the imported save takes precedent here.

This. Mass Effect 2 worked fine on 360, and I can only assume it'll get better, so unless you're planning on buying 1 and 2 for PC, I'd go with the imported save option.

I'm confused...what bonuses does the PC have?
Uhh, everything?

I'd start with graphics, but that's not really true in ME2's case (so it might stay that way for ME3) .. since they retained the low resolution prerendered scenes on PC.
The textures and such are better, sure ... but with the glowy smudgy lighting effects they incorporated into the engine (they did it to compensate for the 360's lack of antialiasing), which they retained on the PC, it's really not that much better.

The control scheme is where it's all at.

Mouse allows precision aiming, especially since headshots give you double damage while the 360's aim assistance tracks the nearest target's center mass. Which is suboptimal generally, but is absolutely horrendous for sniping.

8 hotkeys are damn sweet, allowing for full use of combos without breaking your rhythm by pausing. Although people who pause anyways for the sake of tactical combat won't be much impressed.

Generally speaking, however ... ME2 was designed for the 360, so while it's better on PC it's not worlds apart.

Hmmm...still not sold. I guess I'm just stuck in my ways as a consol-tard. Nice try man.

360. PC is just a step down from a game that was made for mainly the console players

Ummmm..... you forgot PS3. I believe I choose PS3, I've already played ME1 on PC and ME2 is gonna be on PS3 when it comes out later this month.

You can download save files from that masseffectsaves.com and pick one that's close to your choices.
And then use an editor to make all the decision flags match what you did in previous games... or match what you later wished you'd done (and resurrect favourite teammates who didn't survive the suicide mission).

I prefer the PC version myself, but... I can understand being attached to your character.

If it matters that much to you, and you don't want to deal with flagging a previously saved game from someone else, then you may as well get it on the 360 since the rest of your trilogy is there.

Otherwise... Playing it on the PC was a lot more fun for me.

PC is far better, but if you have the saves on the Xbox... Xbox all the way. The saves are that important.

I have both ME1 and 2 on PC. I got the original on PC because I couldn't play Mass Effect on PS3. So, my Mass Effect experience now resides on the PC.

For the record, whilst ME1 may have been a better experience on PC, ME2 was much more uniform across the platforms. ME3 will most likely follow that trend.

If you aren't super attached to your Shepard but want to have the same decisions you will be able find a save game to suit you. There will probably be another face editor stage in 3 anyway. PC, but I can't use a controller to save my life.

I myself am having this same crisis. I want to move back to my PC as my primary mode of gaming. Weaning myself from my console is very very hard. I went to console because most of my friends played console games. Now hat they are commissioning me to build them gaming PC's I am having this same thought. I have played through 1 and 2 multiple times on 360 and don't really want to lose my saves, but, if i can edit flags etc to get the same as close to mine as possible then im more willing to make the jump to PC. I might just pick up the duo on steam.

PC if you have one that can handle it, Bioware themselves admitted the ME engines run best on PC.

Eh, it's hard to say. I love the benefits of the PC (higher resolution, silky smooth framerate, much better controls imo, and texture mods), but I also really love the benefits of importing a save file. The "defaultShep" is known as "FailShep" for good reason.

If you can get Mass Effect 1 & 2 on sale for PC, I would wholeheartedly recommend that. If not, it's probably best to keep to the 360 version for the sake of continuing your story.
