Poll: 3D Gaming!

I recently jumped on the 3d TV bandwagon and wondered if anyone else has or is thinking about getting a 3d set. I for one have been extremely impressed, not so much with movies or tv but there seems to be huge potential when it comes to games. The 3d gaming market is very limited now but i own Motorstorm 3d rift, Gran Turismo 5 and Cod: Black Ops(360) which are all 3d capable. Motorstorm is definitely the standout as far as getting an intense 3d experience and now I cant wait for Apocalypse, but it actually feels great in black ops too, I think a lot of people pass it off as a gimick but it makes the action really intense and it seems like Treyarch actually spent time with it and made it work.3d games will absolutely be the focal point for 3d going mainstream and im excited that Sony is so behind the technology,I hope it will be optional on every release in the future.

3D is rad, but if you really want your money's worth, you'll need a GTX460 or better, one of the fancy Nvidia 3D packages, and a 120HZ (or better) 3D capable TV. As I already have a 120 3D monitor, and I really would like to replace my GTS250, 3D isn't to expensive for me and is rad.

Since you're playing on console, you'll have to deal with much lower FPS in almost every case of 3D, which I'm not willing to sacrifice for 3D.

Next console gen, I'll be all over console 3D, but PC is really where it's at right now.

Yeah, i hate that it drops to 720p to make up for the framerate drop, but its still badass.

3D seems like it could have great potential... Personally, I'm not a fan, mostly due to the fact that it makes me nauseous and gives me a blistering headache. I know quite a few people who are very excited about the expanse of the technology as a whole though, so it's likely inevitable that 3D will become a part of my day-to-day sometime within the next decade...
