Poll: 3DS

I put a pre-order down the other day for it. One thing that baffles me is why Nintendo didn't hold back Pokemon Black and White for the 3DS, it would sell like really hot hot cakes. Whatever, roll on March 25th.

Well I certainly won't be buying one just for the 3D technology, I'm with the group of people who think this whole motion control/3D road media seems to be going down is stupid, 3D doesn't make a game/movie better, a good game is a good game regardless of whether or not that rock looks like it's coming right at me, they seem more like distractions used to hypnotize children.

I'm really not into the whole 3d thing.

However, I bet nintendo is. I'm sure the only way to get the next instalment of certain games will be to get them in 3d.

I was wondering how many of you guys would be getting a 3DS, considering it's the next big thing.

Also, I was thinking... if (read: when) the Orcana of Time port sells extremely well, what if Nintendo did the same thing with Majora's Mask? Just something to ponder.

It's Ocarina of Time. They probably will port over Majora's Mask. And I have both of those for N64, so I won't be getting the 3DS. Plus I want fullscreen non-glasses 3D, not handheld 3D.

I am not going to bother to get the game at launch but I'll probably get it when there are games on it I want to play. I can't see myself getting it for another year or two.

I'm waiting, but not for the price drop. I don't really care about that. But I also don't really care about the 3DS. When Pokemon requires it, I'll upgrade. Until then, my DS Lite works quite well.

Probably never. ~£230 is not an acceptable price for a hand-held console for me, revolutionary or not. I could buy a PS3 for that. =/

I want to get one, but the launch lineup isn't really good enough for me to justify buying one. I'm not saying there aren't any good games in there, Dead or Alive Dimensions and some others caught my eye, but none of them seem like games that I can play for longer than a week or two.
I'll probably buy it when they release a good JRPG

OT: I'll get one eventually. I'm happy with my current DS at the moment, but I can't wait for Ocarina of Time.

Hopefully the PSP will offer a bit more stiff competition this time around.

And why do everyone insist on calling it 3DS when it's obviously N3DS?

Because people prefer to call if the Nintendo 3DS, and then shorten it down by getting rid of the company name everyone already knows like they did for the DS. Of course, what I find silly is that it's name is actually the Nintendo Three Duel Screen if they go by what DS meant.

Anyways, I'm going to try to pick one up, but I don't know if I'll be able to. I may wait until the first batch of them sell just to see how well they work before I buy one though.

I know the smart thing to do is to wait until they release a second version of the 3DS that fixes issues people had with the first one.

But I'll probably be getting it at launch anyway because THREE DEE ESSSS!
