Poll: 40k or regular war hammer? preference

What do you prefer? regular war hammer or 40k? i prefer 40k but i like them both and collect Tau (40k) and Lizard-men (war hammer). I have a large bits box and have stuck some fire warrior shoulder pads and guns on skinks. any way. what do you prefer 40k or regular? I'm guessing 40 k will be more popular choice.
anyone else think lord of the rings warhammer is a bit of a joke?

Bolters, the standard gun for space marines, are pretty much automatic rocket launchers.

Considering the Bretonnian army (Okay, maybe not an entire army.) displayed in my room, I would have to go with regular.

Edit: Sadly, I haven't had the time for painting lately, and there is now only one shop that sells warhammer in my town.

funny then how in game the bolter is the ultimate in ass kicking when the Tau standard pulse gun has better range and damage even, even though in fiction the bolter is clearly supreme. it just doesn't make allot of sense

Okay to actually contribute.
I obviously prefer 40k to Fantasy. It's just got a better backstory and I enjoy the setting a lot more.

My primary army is obviously the Orks. I can field a respectable force of roughly 2100 pts.

I have a decent 1500 point Space Marine army and the beginnings of a Slaanesh/Khorne Daemon host.
I have some Necrons, Tyranid and Chaos Marine figs but they're display only for now. Just some stuff I picked up so I wouldn't have to paint anything Green for a while.

I'm starting to build up a decent Skaven force for Warhammer Fantasy though.

I always preferred regular, for lore and models and stuff. But I only really painted, if you game, 40K is usually the way to go, better gameplay.
