Poll: A gamer ! For how long ?

It`s like this, you play today, you play tomorrow. but until when ?
Some of my friends got married and due to some strange factors they stopped gaming. Other friends are still playing today, taking gaming to the next level, and a few of them are idiots, and have isolated themselves in the world of MMOs.
I`m still gaming, has been a long time though, but each and everyday, when i come home from work, i log in and simply play. lan/online or single player i still play. Hoping i`ll be able to play forever cuz, i happen to know old dudes gaming, hell ... hardcore gaming even. Even my future wife plays wow.
So, my dear escapists, will you play forever?

Been gaming for something like, 19 - 20 years now... Going to game till I either die, or am physically unable to play them.

i've been gameing ever since my dad tught me how to use gunship 2000 on windows 3.1! and that was 15 years ago. so why haven't i stopped? because i can never stop

Yeah, I started around 6 or 8ish, and I'm 35 now, no reason to quit when things will only keep getting better!

I started probably about ten years ago and have since been going backwards. I am the only man I know who bought a c64 over a PS2.

On topic: I've been gaming 21 years now and as long as television and 95% of movies remain as crap as they are, I'm not going anywhere.

Well i would love to stay a hardcore gamer but in all honesty stuff is a bit expensive and i cant afford to buy a $300-600 console every 5 years. I also am not a big PC game fan so i guess only time will tell.

By my estimates I'll live to at least 75. That's quite a long time to dedicate to sole entertainment.

I'll probably keep playing games until either a) it becomes impractical for me to do so (busy job, family, crime fighting etc.) b) my girlfriend (assuming I get one in the near-distant future) demands I stop or c) I elect to stop of my own volition (for whatever reason).
