Poll: A Hairy Situation: A Question for the Ladies...(dudes too)

I'm a girl and I don't mind guys having a tiny bit of hair on the chest, but the minute it starts to resemble the chest of a chimp that would be it... I'd be down the shops buying the waxing kit straight away otherwise call me pathetic, but I think I'd be heading for the door. Lots of hair on a guy is simply disgusting!

I haven't actually been with a guy who has a hairy chest, so I can't really give a full opinion, but I think I would prefer a smooth chest. But if a guy wants a hairy chest, all I would ask is that he don't have the hair going higher than his collar bone. I hate seeing hair poking out of the top of shirts and such.

Pretty much this. I've never been with a super-hairy guy... all the guys I've dated have been smooth naturally (or if they shave, they never admit it).

Honestly I think chest hair is nasty, but shaving it is just weird. So I'll keep my yummy no-hair boys.

Ew...that wasn't a pleasant site in the least. He looks like he has a $30 haircut from a place with a name similar to Foxy Lady Cuts. He is also wearing his jeans Federline style since I can see the tan line where his jeans SHOULD be. Nasty picture. Wasn't he in Twilight?

I think the point is that he doesnt look girly, and in fact he is rather attractive.

No man can be attractive in my opinion, not even me. But, that is because I'm a guy that doesn't care for the male body at all.

I'd feel more than just a little bit silly shaving my couple dozen chest hairs. I doubt I'd shave my chest even if I did have any hair worth mentioning on it though. I'm not a fan of scraping myself with razors, and every other alternative is worse.

I'm super hairy. Hair from my head to my feet, front and back. TBH, does not bother me. I would like to have less hair on my back, but, ya know, whatever.

I don't really care if a guy has a shaved chest or not. Shaving it is a tad strange in my opinion but I don't care if people do it. A shaved chest often does look better, especially if they have a nice body, but in general I have no preference.

As a 15 year old bi guy, there's not much worth shaving, and I prefer guys shaven.

I look as if I'm housing several bears on my chest. That, and I have to shave my beard every two days or else I look like Chewbacca.


I wouldn't shave it, simply because it would ITCH.

I don't have any chest or back hair. Do have a small amount around my navel though. I don't shave anywhere, but I groom my beard and mustache into an Anchor style. Also groom my pubic hair down to an even level where it doesn't tangle and knot. If I had chest or back hair I'd probably groom it in a similar manner. But then, I'm blond, so even when my body hair is thick it doesn't look like there's that much.

There's no way I'm shaving my chest hair, and there's quite a lot. GF doesn't mind it so that's cool. Pubic hair on the other hand...

Thanks to my fathers hair genes, I don't have much on my chest. I do, however, have more on there at 18 than he does at 58. >_>

As a (female) friend of mine once put it: imagine she wants to cuddle with you after sex and lays her face on your sweat-soaked mess of curly black hair. I think you'd have to be a special kind of girl to like that.

I don't quite get why the poll says "I'd shave" instead of "I shave" - that would be my option.
