Today marks the 25th anniversary of the japanese release of The Legend of Zelda, and I was amazed that there was no mention of this anywhere on the Escapist. Being a diehard Zelda fan, I felt the need to express my love for the series and stir up discussion of and tribute to a series that many that browse these forums hold dear. How about we get some posted artwork and music (either from the games, remixed, or completely original) along with the obvious discussion of the games, which is the best, which is worst, favorite scenes/chapters/levels/sections, and the obligatory debate over whether the formula has gone stale or not!
You could tell the story about when you fell in love with the franchise or you could tell the story about why you hate the franchise and Nintendo as a whole. I'm just as interested in both!
