I think it would really depend on my mood.

Probably kill myself though, I bet it's one of those sick psychological experiments that they tend to do and I'd live and someone would say 'wow you're so cool for not being selfish'.

As for me - I'm saving myself. Self-preservation's quite a powerful drive. Besides, I like me, and I know people will miss me. As long as I don't talk to them, I don't know if the same applies. Sure, I'll feel remorse at some point, probably. But meh.

My point is that following instinct does mean that a person is justified. You seem to be claiming that it is alright to save your life on the sole basis that it is your instinct to do so.

Nah, I think I'm going with killing myself. I am/was slightly suicidal as it is, so if I can save some people and die a painless death in the process, that's pretty much the ideal scenario.
