Lets say ... 10 personal items. Food, water, shelter are already in the cargo bay.

1kg costs NASA about a million dollars to spend into space, plus, I imagine that there will be spacial restrictions. Id take pencils, paper, some diceand RP books to pass the time until a new shipment arrives. Any remaining space will be dedicated to firearms, ammunition and maintenance equipment.

I'd go if my gf went with me. I'd also bring the aforementioned 10 personal items, wich would include some games, my PS3, and a tv.

Marsbase 01 of the Somonels Sovereignty will not have spare electricity. Bring gloves and a shovel, my castle isn't going to get built by the martians, who will all be my descendants.
On a side note, would this mean I could bring 10 girlfriends.
