Much prefer coffee. Like most stereotypical views, it's related to some of us and not the others.
It 'is' a valid stereotype that we're often overly formal, and I think that's where the tea-drinking came in. That and the Boston Tea Party, of course.

I prefer coffee, but coffee takes ages to make, so I drink tea noticeably more. But yeah I like tea, as does everyone in my family, and all of my friends. The first thing most people ask as you walk through the door is "would you like a cup of tea?" I'd feel lost if that wasn't the norm.
Not bad. I can't stand coffee, but a nice cup of tea every once in a while isn't so bad. but I really don't drink it habitually.

Love me my tea, Yorkshire Tea FTW. Before I moved to Zadar, I would have like 5 cups a day. Unfortunatly, Im currently living in Croatia, and the tea here is rubbish. When I next go to brition Im going to have to stock up, but They mainly sell long life milk here, which is crap in tea. Luckly they still have my second favorite drink here, Southern Comfort!!....its a sad life.
I can't understand the liking of coffee, especially in preference to tea.
And yes, though I don't drink it all that often, I very much enjoy tea.

I'm not particularly fond of tea, but I prefer it to coffee.
At work I usually drink hot chocolate.
Having said that, I don't think I've ever said no to a nice cup of tea with milk and 1 sugar.

From what I can infer from those around me, it's certainly not a universal thing, but I've met enough fussy tea drinkers to know it isn't completely made up.

I like it well enough, can't stand coffee though.
The stereotype is much less true no than it used to be, fun fact: during WW1 we brits shipped more tea to our troops BY WEIGHT than artillary shells.

I tend to drink coffee instead, but nevertheless, I do bloody love tea. My nan prefers it so usually makes tea rather than coffee, so I grew up on the stuff whenever I visited her. I like it how my late grandfather tended to, if I recall correctly, and how soldiers are supposed to drink it (according to Pterry at least) - with lots of milk and sugar... gotta love a good mug of saloop...
