I'm not a huge sports fan in general.

I watch the Olympics, Wimbledon and the World Cup or Ashes, but that's about it. So, no, I don't really care about football. Plus my home recently got relegated and now has a Fascist manager so....yeah.

As for the Queen, I don't know how I feel. I think I'm apathetic towards the Royal Family.

Just because I'm British doesn't mean I'm stereotyped to the Moon and back (Only mostly). But I still like football. And I think our Queen's a bit on the.. loony side, so I guess I care about my local football club more.

Queen. I find Football boring and the players are paid far too much while the Royal Family are a solid investment plan. We pay 20 Million in tax for them, they earn us 200 million in tourism. Good deal.

Calumon: Jack won't let me play it. He says I don't know the rules!

Jack: There is not a line that forces players to hop around like Frogmon.

Queen, because my town doesn't have a proper football club.

And Aberdeen F.C have been playing really badly lately.

I used to half-heartedly support my local football club to fit in. But fellow supporters' "YEAH, A FELLOW GOONER!" praise was tempered out by rival team supporters' "YOU'RE A GOONER? GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!" teasing so I ended up giving up 'cause I really didn't care either way.

Edit: Oh, and I never really cared much about the royal family, so I voted neither.

Queen.

I don't like sports. And sports fans are mostly annoying shouty people that can't deal with losing.
But I do care about Football enough to feel annoyed whenever someone says Soccer.

Football is a load of crap. And I say that as a born and bred proud Englishman. The only sport that is similar that's any good, and therefore worthy of my time and effort watching, is Rugby. Therefore, my answer to this poll is that I care more about the Queen (yep, I'm a staunch monarchist :p).

Also, I care a great deal about this Queen too ;)

Neither. Couldn't care less about one or the other to be fair. The Royals are just a bunch of toffs and football is for people not man enough to play rugby.

You've come to the Escapist to ask this? Apart from anything I can't imagine many sports fanatics here. I care more about what LFC are doing at any given moment than what the Queen's doing, but they're hardly comparable now are they? I'm not a royalist either.

The Queen but not really out of any deep seated love, just a deep seated hatred of football. However I don't mind watching England play in international matches though, thats more interesting.
So its the Queen and also the Royal family in general I suppose, its always funny to see how racist and stupid Charles can be without trying.

The Royals are a huge drain on our economy in a time where every other place is getting cut to fund rich arseholes spending hundreds of thousands of government money on their wine cellar (seriously I can't believe there are people who ever thought the Tories would be better than the admittedly average but at least competant Gordon Brown. Morons). Football is just a bit shit. Out of the two I'd favour football if only because I can turn it off when I'm bored, I can't blink the Royals out of existance quite so simply.

Well my football club likes so associate itself with the Union and the Queen, for reasons I won't bother telling, so both go hand in hand.

I don't much care for football, to be honest I don't even know who my local club is which should tell you all you need to know. I am on the other hand quite a staunch supporter of the Queen - not only does the Royal family bring in about 10x as much money as we spend on them (as Jack rightly asserted) but I think she's a much better ambassador and better figure head for our country than any prime minister we've had while I've been alive. Just look at how well her visit to Ireland went recently - that visit did so much more good than any state visit by a politician would have.
