I've been to NY, LA and Vegas already. And none of the others on the list directly appeal to me. But I'll be visiting some friends in Nashville in a few weeks, and I still want to visit the Pacific Northwest and New England at some point.
None of the above. I love countries for their landscapes, not their cities. It's one of the reasons I fell in love with South Africa when I was there with the family for vacation.
So, for America... Monument Valley. Other places too, but if I ever go to America that's the top of my list for places to see.

Been to Florida but now I'm grown up I don't really care so much now.
Been to Hawaii and it's genuinely the most awesome place in the world, would definitely go back there but I feel obligated to go somewhere new.
Been to San Francisco and it's the worst place I've ever been to. You would just walk down a street and there would be shit all up the walls. I went to the modern art museum there and it was disgusting to see the number of donors of $50,000 when their city is covered in shit.
I'd like to go to Vegas, though I doubt I'd enjoy it. It just seems like one of those places you HAVE to go to.

I go to Seattle two or three times a year and I've been to San Francisco already, so my next choice would be New York. Manhattan specifically, but I like exploring. After that Portland or more East coast. Of course, if I had that kind of money my first choice of destination would probably not be anywhere in the U.S.A. There's an awful lot of world out there, and I like some of the other continents.
YELLOWSTONE! I plan to DIE there when I'm on my last legs. I'll get my family to wheel me into the park as I'm about to die and as I look over the wonderful wilderness of that place, I will slowly stop breathing and die a natural death in one of the most naturally beautiful places on earth.
I'm serious. Providing that Yellowstone is still around in 70 or so years (about the amount of time I think I have left), I'll die in Yellowstone.

I've been to New York City and hated it. It's probably just because I'm used to European cities. New York seemed depressingly soulless.

As it stands, I'd be more likely to bi-pass the states and head straight for Canada, but given the choice, Boston would be my first stop, followed by New York and then likely San francisco.
New York from the poll, but Buffalo and Boston are the two I rather would like to visit. Boston, some point around St Patrick's Day so I can catch Dropkick Murphys' usual concert seeing as I always manage to miss them whenever they come to the UK and Buffalo to visit a friend of mine from uni. Then after I can cross the border and gallivant around Canada
I have already been to New York and Orlando so my choice is Las Vegas. I have had a blast every time I've been to America.

Perhaps I just watch too many movies, but isn't that place a dank grey concrete slab with horrible weather, a ludicrous crime rate, a morose, irritable population and a higher than average influx of natural disasters including earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis and alien invasions?

Well, I've been to New York. I've also been within Orlando's city limits, but didn't see much but the convention center
So I chose Vegas. Not very representative of the US, but must be fun to see once.

I'd make my way to each and every world wonder/natural wonder site in Civ 5 Gods and Kings. Particularly: Great Barrier Reef (I wanna see if it makes me smarter) and Sistine Chapel (to see if it make me more cultured).
Well the top choice is a toss up between New York City, San Francisco and Yellowstone National Park for me. In the end it will have to be NYC as my Jewish great aunty lives there.
Although I would love to visit all those places.

The second time was a two day stay on the way back to Auckland six weeks later. Although on that two day stay we spent every spare minute at Disneyland and commuted to and from the hotel at the park at night. So I didn't see much.
Although I would love to visit all those places.

Well since i've been to Vegas, NY and Yellowstone the poll doesn't work that much for me.Dags90 said:

But i'm not sure of what i'd want to see now. I'm not a beach guy so miami, hawaii and stuff like that don't seem attractive. And i've already seen things like the grand canyon, mount rushmore, Salt Lake City, etc.
I wouldn't mind visiting NYC, yellowstone and hawaii. But I don't know enough about any one place to know where I'd like to visit most.
