I know I can speak at least 2 languages fluently: Spanish (my native language) and English (as you can see).

I can read a little of Portuguese and Italian because those are also romance languages and therefore very similar to spanish, but I couldn't speak in those so they don't count.

I also understand some words in German, learned mostly from listening to Rammstein with translated lyrics.

I speak English and French, have learned the basics of German and would like to continue with it, and I an learning Scottish Gaelic.

Using this I can make sense of Spanish, Italian, Old English and Dutch.

I learned Latin in high school. I'm not the best at it but I'm certainly not bad. My only problem is remembering the vocabulary.

I'm also being taught German by a friend of mine. He used to teach it it in university.

I took a little bit of Spanish in High School, but I have since forgotten it.

I would love to learn another language. But which one, I don't know. I also know it would be a very long and arduous process, so that makes me very hesitant to start.

I was born in Ukraine, so Russian is my native language. Fluent in English, as well, since I did all of my schooling here. Also fluent in Japanese and Mandarin, and pretty proficient (able to do business in) French and Spanish. I think having to learn a language as an immigrant definitely improves your facility to pick up other languages later, but as with everything, constant practice makes perfect.

This again?
Native tongue is Swedish, but I've been learning English in school since I was around six years old. Believe most kids start their English classes at the age of eight. Our teacher wanted us to have a head start. Have also studied Spanish for four years, though I can hardly remember anything at all.
My tip is to remember to use your newly learned language once in a while. The reason I forgot all Spanish is because there's not much chance for practise around here.

Also considering to learn German.

I know Polish (native), English, German.

I learnt German for total of 6 years at school, but started over in the middle because when I went to high-school they only had beginners course and I didn't want to start learning another one,the classes sucked anyway and teacher war away for more than half a year without replacement (we know the principal falsified grades later), so I know some vocabulary, grammar and maybe understand simple text but I couldn't hold a conversation.

Was going to start learning Japanese (damn lack of export and waiting for subs), but now I can't decide between it and Cantonese (I always go abut how I'm going to emigrate to Hong Kong) and I don't rally want to learn both at once.
Planning to learn Spanish and/or Portuguese but never really do anything about that.
If I manage to make any progress on this list I will take Russian too.

For now it's just great plans and I'm left with 2 foreign languages one of witch I can't really speak.

I speak Russian, Hebrew and English fluently. I know a biiiit in French, but I last studied long ago, so I probably don't remember most of it. I decided that the next language I learn will be something new, since I know 2 Alphabet languages and an Abjad, so I am currently checking out the basics of Japanese.

English would count as my second language, but since I read mainly English literature and ya'know movies, music and the internet, it could just as well count as first along side my native Icelandic. I was also supposed to have learned Danish and German throughout school but if I would say I can speak either it would make me a bigger liar than company mascots.
