Here it is:
"I bought this game with because of all the acclaim it got and I figured, hey it's only 20 bucks for a great game. Wrong. Wrong. Where do I start? How about the really boring story. It seems they made the game and all the puzzles and then thought man, I need a reason to do all this. So uninteresting I've already checked somewhere in the water part. How are the creepy/scary qualities? It was creepy for all of 20 minutes. Then it was just stupid. Losing your sanity consists of a few more scratching sounds and a dumb filter put on the scree. Then sometimes the screen flashes and becomes a little more red while your lose control. Ah yes, control. The controls suck. Think Minecraft and you'd be nearly spot on. The only fun I started having with the game was running (which is more like fast walking) and jumping. Usually I tried to glitch the game and monsters. By the way, the monsters are not scary. Once again see Minecraft. Except sometimes they are invisible and can hurt you... but you can jump through them. Seriously don't be suckered like me by all these reviews. Compare this side by side to a serious game title (Dead Space) and it'll knock it out of the water. Lastly, I have a good graphics card and the settings are at the highest. Yeah, the graphics still suck. Is this company stuck in 2001? Thanks for reading. Summary: Unless you're 3 and have never played a half-decent video game before, don't waste your time. It's not fun, scary, creepy, a good story, or a cool experience."
Ok, what mostly ticks me off is that he mentions dead space as a good game. And with the conext, probably like in the horror game genre. And my point is, dead space isn't scary! It is just unnecessarily gory and I got sick of it at chapter 2.
And since when were the controls bad, and are the controls in minecraft that bad either? I think both of them do their job as intended. Non of them are a fastpaced shoot monsters with guns.
I mean, even Yahtzee approved of both of those games, and that has to mean something.
I just felt like I needed to vent, because I felt like thos was clueless. But maybe my own little thread is too.
EDIT: Oh, and by this person I meant the guy that said that amnesia was shit. Ok. Toodles.

There is something ridiculous about this, and its not that guy's review.

I'm confused is this your review or someone elses?

Nobody is gonna like every game, I'm sure there's bad reviews for it out there somewhere.

Umm... Dead Space IS a good game. Not scary, but good.

I'd play that 100 times before I play through Amnesia again.

Anyway, I will agree with the review on a few things. I didn't find the game all that scary either. It makes you feel a little tense, but I wasn't scared. The plot isn't really all that good, the controls aren't anything too special, and graphically, it isn't the next big thing.

I'm not going to write a review of why Amnesia is a bad game, because it isn't. For survival horror fans, such as myself, it was a really good game (just not one that got me. I'm a much bigger fan of Penumbra), but I will point out that this guy had some valid points (even if it does look like the guy who wrote it is either A) retarded, or B) Trolling).

Not really. No one single person should be held above the others in terms of videogame praise.

But wait! You forgot the other section of the review!

"This game doesn't even have multiplayer. I was bored half of the time as well since there weren't any guns either. I mean I'd rather play a game that has master chief in it and an actual scary monster such as the flood.
I can't believe that they didn't even include blood and gore since it makes the game really scary like deadspace.
Even then, I couldn't even beat those monster without any weapons. If
I had my tactical nuke from call of duty, those monster would so be toast. Thats the bad thing about this game, no weapons. This is what really turned me off about amnesia."

This guy is clearly a troll.

I let people have their own opinions, but how can you totally agree with a review when one comment claims "Yeah, the graphics still suck. Is this company stuck in 2001" there is a limit to opinions until their just wrong.

Plz don't troll. Some of you have made some points and neither did I say that the controls are exceptional, or that the graphics are crysis material. What I meant is that the controls do what they are supposed to, They're not bad by any means.
The graphics aren't bad either, not ground breaking or state of the art but they don't really need to be better. DS has pretty good graphics, but it is still not scary.

Oh, and this is not my review. I just played amesia. A monster found me and I decided that the least scary thing to do was to hurl myself to my death instead of letting him rip my face off. I like amnesia, at least a lot better than dead space; to me it (DS) is an action game with to much gore.

"I decided that the least scary thing to do was to hurl myself to my death instead of letting him rip my face off" The game informs you on how to play the game, trying to do the opposite will ofc make the game bad most likely. Its fair to do so if the game doesn't inform you to do so. It's like playing beyonetta using only light punch to fight and then complaining the combat is shallow, the game has told you how to play and your refusing, thus can't blame the game for your bad experience.

Sorry, but I missed your point. What happened when the monster found me was:
"Oh, shit! it found me! PAUSE!" And then I paused to calm down a little. Then, reluctantly I unpaused and ran away. But, it felt kinda hopeless so I felt more in control comitting suicide than standing there, getting that hopeless feeling you get before being murdered in amnesia.

No you don't have to freak out, your not forced to be scared it's just silly to comment on something even though your doing it wrong.
You are told to hide/run/avoid.

So, by the horror game scaring me to the point that I am actually terrified of those monsters, I have done something wrong?
Since when is being scared by a horror game doing it wrong?
What is your point??? That I am playing the game wrong? Ok, but what is your agenda, why; are you pointing that out?
