Ugh I never good at measurement. I usually have a bottle of water on me which I can drink all of it within a day (the bottle is 500ml). Also I including all of the other liquid like tea and juice that I also on the day as well. Ok so is Millilitres is Litre three times? If it is then I guess I drink either 1-2 Litres or 3-5 Litres.

Not enough, which is why I'm now making sure I drink at least a bottle of 1.5l each day. That, included with all the other drinks, and food I have should just about cover 2.5 l.

Don't know exactly but I think I don't drink enough. I mostly mix it with other drinks.

Erhm...No idea. I drink from time to time or none at all some days. So I can't really give a definite answer.

If cordial counts than probably around 2-3 litres a day. Otherwise like, none.

I honestly cannot see how people can drink more than 8 or so L a day, I mean seriously go out and and get 8L and stand them next to each other, there is no way you're drinking that much unless you're just constantly drinking from it throughout the day. I know I go through about 7 a day (as I can tell from the empty water bottles littering my desk) and my urine is clear a lot of times, and I've actually been told several times from my doctor when I go for urine tests that it really isn't super healthy. Now if I'm going clear and not healthy around 7 people at 12-15 should probably be dead...or they are punishing their kidneys hardcore.

I've somewhat recently quit drinking soda (outside of the occasional Jack D. and Mountain Dew) probably....... hell over a year now... I now drink mostly tea, water, or beer... but as I am an american sod using that archaic imperial system I have no idea what a liter is, not that I could actually tell you in oz either... but I'd guess (tea included) 1/2 gallon, 64 ounces... something metric
Its a little more than a quart , or to make it easy 4 cups exactly (for the cup is metric , but pshhhhh)

I drink about 2-5 liters of water a day. 5 only when its hot. And yes even in germany
it can be damn hot outside

just included the pic because it cracks me up every time :D

very little. At school I will suck it back at the fountain on breaks but not enough to make a difference. On average I drink 4-5 cans of diet pepsi a day so if someone wants to do the math of water content from that - the effect of a diuretic feel free lol. Also doesnt help that I sleep 3-4 hours a night so I know I am dehydrated.

Also the people who are drinking 7+ litres of water I dont think I could but damn your kidneys must love you.

To Rednog, 7 litres isnt bad for your kidneys, its helpful as it will help to flush out the crap your body normally produces(kidneys can handle around 15 litres of water per day if they are healthy). Your doctor should be more concerned with a condition known as hyponatremia, where you drink too much water too fast and cause an electrolyte imbalance in your body that can lead to death.

If we're talking about pure, unadulterated water, I probably only drink about 1 litre a day. If we're talking overall fluid consumption (water, tea, orange juice, and yes beer) the figure is closer to 9 or 10.

Umm... water itself? Never. Seriously. My kidneys are screaming.

Now... Tampico on the other hand... :p. You need a larger poll option and change it to Tampico.

...............................................................................................I MUST BE FUCKING DEHYDRATED! I drink probably less than 2 litres a day. Maybe take a few sips from my mug beside my bed when i wake up, half a glass when i eat breakfast /or dinner and some tap water at school. This is going to be bad for my body when I grow up. >.>

I'm not quite sure how some of the people in the poll manage to drink that much...

12 Liters (aka 6 2-liter bottles or just over 3 Gallons) is approximately 24 bottles of water. Assuming you only drank bottled water, you'd be going through a case of it every single day.

I usually drink anywhere from 2-4 Liters per day depending on meals, exercise, etc...

2-3 liters per day, a bit more if I factor in food.

Seriously though, 15 liters? Even if you do a lot of sports and exercise, that is a lot of water.

If im off work in gaming mode, sometimes I forget to drink for a few hours, and notice I have a light-head when I stand up, or I'll get symptoms of a migraine. But for the most part, I generally drink 2 bottles of water (600ml) 2-3 glasses of orange juice, and at least 2 cups of coffee a day.

I'd like to quote a site I found earlier when I googled "how much water is too much"
"Your kidneys must work overtime to filter excess water out of your blood circulatory system. Your kidneys are not the equivalent of a pair of plumbing pipes whereby the more water you flush through your kidneys, the cleaner they become; rather, the filtration system that exists in your kidneys is composed in part by a series of specialized capillary beds called glomeruli. Your glomeruli can get damaged by unnecessary wear and tear over time, and drowning your system with large amounts of water is one of many potential causes of said damage"

OP, I think it would be wise to you see a doctor about the excess amounts of water you're consuming daily, as it may be a early warning about diabetes.

I hardly drink plain water, but I do drink juice, tea, and milk a lot. Probably about 3-5 litres a day.

Depends, I only drink water (and it's flavoured water at that, can't stand plain) if I'm thirsty. Some days I'm drinking all the time throught thirst, other it's about 2 or 3 glasses.
