Not really... I've only gotten a 100% completion on Borderlands (the disc-based content, anyway) because I really enjoy the game and the trophies/achievements spur me on to explore the game more.
Except the one where you have to kill something by jumping on it. I did that mostly just to see if I could.
Though... I've got 98% for A Crack in Time. There's a trophy I can't get, so I don't try.
