I didn't look this year, though I have done in previous years. All I know I'm getting is a Toblerone. This is because when I was at my grandmother's house yesterday I did a few odd jobs, including cleaning upstairs, and she had presents for me, my brother, and my parents, in four seperate plastic bags on a bed. I didn't sneak a look, mainly because they were all already wrapped, but in each bag I noticed an unwrapped Toblerone bar among the other presents, so that's the only guarantee. Otherwise, I have no idea.
Then again, all my presents were wrapped before I got home from university, and since I'm 19 the childish urge to sneak a peek has gone now. Though I'm particularly annoyed at my dad, since he insisted on buying my mom and brother's presents for me. He seemed to think that because I'm a student and because I had to ask for financial assistance from my parents a few weeks ago (for the first time ever, I've always got by fine until now) that I can't afford to buy Christmas presents for my family. I guess I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, and I should be grateful, and I am, but I can still afford to get presents, all this means is that I can't afford to get myself nice things (which I don't do anyway, except the occasional gig ticket or £3 DVD that's been pre-owned and sold more times than Paris Hilton's credibility...).
