There will be a huge war between in the animal kingdom using their secret missile silos. But in the end the giant mutated ape Bob will win.

lets just say that the government found a way to make life on mars and evacuated the whole earth to mars so the planet could rebuild itself

Yeah, basically this. You get a gold star!

EDIT: Ninja'd by the OP. Ok, why do we need to go to mars precisely? Imminent nuclear war? Giant lice? Rowan Atkinson?

Let's just say that in this scenario, humans suddenly disappear and are gone completely.

My guess is either Canids(dogs) or Squirrels. Dogs, because they are so adaptable and there are so many of them. And Squirrels, becuase they have hands and with humans gone, they'll be able to reproduce without fear of cars.

The next closest thing to us becuase the environment hasn't changes, probably apes. Granted without the Human Drive to change things, it would be hard to say anything is the dominate species. I mean before humans arrived we had something at the top of the food chain but they were in no way the dominate species.

Bees, they hate physics with a passion and have those deadly stings.

According to the laws of physics bees should not be able to fly, and yet somehow they manage to. The reason for this is that they have access to black magic.

My legion of highly trained squirrel operatives will rule the world when we are gone, although now that I think about an army of squirrels probably wont be doing anything monolithic other than taking over every tree in the world.

How does us leaving get rid of the millions of plants and animals that inhabit Earth? There may not be a dominate species for quite some time, but the planet wouldn't be lifeless.

Well, as a sentient robot posing as a human, after all the humans are dead, I would patiently wait for squids to evolve to the point of walking on land, perhaps with a bit of assisstance from me. Then I would show them the value of fire, pointy sticks, etc. and work my way up technology until we get to nukes. Then I drum my fingers on my knees and wait for another good global annihalation. I've done this with three species and I must say that humanity has taken the shortest amount of time from fire to nuke than any species so far. They also seem to be very impulsive, so this should lead to fun times.

If something happens to kick humans off this planet, most other animals are going with us. If anything stays to dominate it'll be bacteria or something.

How does something with such a large body, and small wings possible fly?!

Seriously, if humans somehow become extinct, how would anything else survive?

Er...so are you saying that things weren't alive before humans? I'm pretty sure that if a single animal is removed from a food web equation, the global ecosystem goes on.

Dude, if humans die, then so will all the other animals. Humans have a much biger survivability rate then most animals.

If earth will become unlivable to humans, then trust me, only cockroaches and bacteria will survive.

Humans wont just go *poof gone*. We will make this planet a big, cold, lifelles rock.

Optimism is stupidity in disguise, good sir.
