Ummmm... couldn't it be a plane? They move can move horizontally and vertically (GASP!), they also move inhumanly fast, sometimes 2000+ KMPH. Add to that, some have lights, perhaps a large searchlight? If not, there is always rockets, a round from some experimental weapon, or a helicopter.

I believe that there must be some other life somewhere outside of the earth, but the chances that it's intelligent (never-mind smart enough to zoom around the universe at several hundred times the speed of light), seems unlikely to me.

I find it ridiculous to assume that out of all the trillions of galaxies with billions of stars, many with planets, that ours is the only one to harbour life.

The incident in China has nothing to do with any of this.

No, I have always though aliens exist. I just refuse to belive they have been to Earth, and if they had we would have nothing they would want or need. Our Galaxy is big enough for thier to be trillions of possibilities for life.

flew across china recently, the chinnese goverment are calling it a military experiment. but it was moving inhumanly fast and was emmiting a brilliant white light and as it was moving horizontally it couldn't have been a sattelite.
1.) Unless it was traveling faster then 7000 it was not much inhumanly fast.
2.) A lot of failed jet aircraft test flights give off dazzling lights.. mostly of the white variety.
3.) Why does everyone assume military experiments are always satellites?

To conclude, it's not an Alien U.F.O. most logically a failed Chinese military experiment for a jet that can trump all non Nasa built air crafts.

And yes, I believe in aliens but this is no a case of a U.F.O.
Thanks and good day.

I have always believed there was intelligent life forms out there. Do I think this was them? no. why? Because if it was I am sure it would be off the internet and no one would know except the Government big wigs. Yet we have discovered technology that can make you hover, go the distance in 1 minute that it would take a plane 20 minutes to go to, but the bad part of it is we can't remember it. ( what I mean is if you go in it you can't ). I saw this on the history channel by the way. This man built it and set the distance. You enter, not him. Although it could just be he drugged the guys. What ever I am still intrigued by this.

After having watched one video, and seen one photo.. I can't really explain why the wake pattern is the way it is, but I'm more or less convinced that what I am seeing is a NASA ramjet prototype aircraft. So that people can go across the globe on the same ticket, within the hour they took off.

Kinda like they do in this manga.

Read it, it's good for you.

Do I believe there is another intelligent life form out there? Probably, yes. Do I believe that thing above the airport in china was one? Nope.

I've believed in aliens for a long time already, it's statistically highly probably for other intelligent life to exist somewhere in the universe. Does that mean that I believe they've been here? No. Did this "incident" change my mind? No.

Also, I can't help but love how the OP referred to it as "the china incident". No offence, but that sounds like one of those so-bad-it's-hilarious sci fi films that they show on sky three.

"Believe" that aliens are out there? Sure.
Do I think that this was the work of aliens? No.

Why? Because there is no reason for someone who have developed timetravel to, quite randomly, fly over one single country on earth and then vanish.

My money is on a plane crash.

As many others say: Space is just too big for something NOT to be out there.

But also too big for us to ever make contact.

It is kinda hard not to believe in Aliens. You can't possibly think in this infinite universe that we are the only planet with lifeforms on it?

Do I believe in the existence of aliens? Yes. The universe is a ridiculously huge place, making the chance of non-terrestrial life quite reasonable.

Do I believe that aliens, as in sapient, space-faring lifeforms have visited Earth? No. See previous statement, re: the universe is a ridiculously huge place.

I do believe in extraterrestrial life but them being intelligent and especially visiting Earth I find very hard do go along with.

to quote Douglas Adams "Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space."

Since the speed of light is so small and space is so big that sort of travel (from intergalactic or intragalactic) would require vast tracts of time, staggering amounts of energy or some work around solution that would require a revision of physics as we understand them at a fundemental level.

I'm very confident that there is life elsewhere but I am quite unsure as to how likely it is that we'll ever encounter the intelligent sort.
