Near the end of my first year of university (so, last May onwards), I started not going to bed until about 5.00am and getting up about 1.00pm. No real reason, I just started to go to sleep later and get up later, fortunately I was usually able to catch up on my work so there weren't any problems with my studies or exams or anything. Plus I always made sure I was up on time for exams or tutorials anyway, regardless of when I went to bed. Never did a complete all nighter though. Just came very close. Being at home for summer has reset my sleeping patterns though, so I should be back to normal times when I go back to university at the end of this month
