I hardly ever pull all nighters, but since I started college I imagine that will change soon.
Oh you have no idea...

Although I always get confused with the American system, is college like university (i.e. you come out with a degree) or 6th Form (i.e. you come out with A-Levels or their equivalent)? Here in Britain, college usually refers to the latter, or somewhere that offers courses for vocational diplomas and stuff...

Not often. But the last thing you want is some talkative kid on a bus on the way to france deciding an all nighter would be a good idea...

25 hours of "My brother's a legend, and people don't mess with me cuz my brothers a legend, and i get all de cred cuz my bruvvers a legend, nd da teechers dont mess cuz my bruvvers a legend..."

dear god, I wanted to thump him...

I'm in Uni now so I'll come out with a degree, but college can also be like community college where you get your prerequisites and go to Uni.

I don't like doing all-nighters. I tend to feel sick the next day. So I only do it when I absolutely have to finish something.

I'm an insomniac, so most of the time I don't even need to try to not fall asleep, and I ended up pulling all-nighters... yeah. :C

Ah I see :) We have a weird thing here as well, sometimes universities here assign you a college, which is kinda like a school 'house' - they do it in York where I study but the best examples are Oxford and Cambridge: their colleges are almost like mini-universities in their own right.

[small]I'm confusing myself now as well.[/small]

The closest I've come to doing a all nighter was when I was playing BioShock until almost three in the morning. (and The Orange Box while playing Half Life 2 & Ep. 1.)

I've been doing it this whole past week and the keyboard keeps yelling at me.
Well show that keyboard who is boss (pimp slap anybody???)

OT: I rarely stay up all night though I do a couple times a year (new year's eve for one, otherwise maybe once or twice extra just over the holidays)

Same as this poster, insomnia is a real *****; sometimes I just sleep one in three nights.

Though I do get to read a lot!

Depends what I'm doing with my days really... but if I'm just idling, I'll quickly slip into the soul destroying 'sleep-at-8am-get-up-at-5pm' routine which usually requires a strategic all-nighter to pull back to something resembling normal. Also happens quite often when I've got a piece of work to hand in. Doesn't matter how long they give us, it's always done the night before it's due. I never pull an all-nighter just for gaming though, I don't think I'd have the attention span, to be honest.

As for how it affects me - it doesn't, really, at least not in unexpected ways. I get tired. Perhaps a bit grumpy. Maybe even a bit tetchy. But... hallucinations and weird shit like that? Nah.
