Surprised I'm in the minority here but no, I don't like rain / rainy days. I love the heat and bright days of summer, anything to do with cold (including rain) is a negative for me.

I love rainy days. Gotta love walking in the rain, in my leather jacket. The water just runs off it, and it feels cool. Plus I love the feel of the water running down my face.
Pretty lucky I live in Britain then, isn't it? :p

No,I love them too.Everytime it rains I always think it's going to be a good day. It's probably because if it's not raining,it's usually hot as shit, especially here in Singapore.

I like rainy days too. the sound of falling rain is so calming, and it makes everything feel alive in a way that bright, sunny days just can't. Ironic, isn't it?

They're my favorite.

They're why if I had to move out of the country I'd move to Britain. Apparently they're lousy with overcast weather over there.

I love rainy days, I love the sound of rain and I love being outside in the rain. I dont even usually wear coats and luckily for me I live in a town that beats the UK average for rainfall and rainy days.

And when it doesn't rain I have this:

I grew up in Galveston, Texas, where it's 95 F and 95% humidity nine months of the year. When the temperature hits the 50's and it gets overcast and rainy---THAT'S X-MAS WEATHER!!! As such cool rainy days always pep me up.

I'm from Pittsburgh. Need I say more?
Please. Call me ignorant but I don't know what Pittsburgh's weather is reputedly like.
A reputation of rain exceeding that of Seattle at this point.
Not being from the US and not knowing anything about US city rainfall amounts I found this really funny. It's like someone saying "I live in 'bwabfdaf' need I say more?" and then following it up with "Well we get more rain than 'adwafaf'" with me still none the wiser XD
I'm sorry, I didn't set my regional settings to your area. Usually, if I get a reply to this at all, it's from another Pittsburgher who knows exactly what I'm on about. I understand, though. Would it help if I said Ireland instead?

Well may father sees rainy days like an outdoor symphony.

He enjoys seeing and hearing the falling water, the winds, and the thunder and lightning. It doesn't really keep him inside and he tends to just go about his business without a care.

I honestly don't mind the rain. I do mind the clouds that linger for the entire day or after the rain ceases. I hate cloudy days; I wish it would just rain all day or stop and clear out the sky when it is done.

Where I live we get around 200 days of rain a year thanks to being right at the base of a national park - all the clouds form & fall on us. On the bright side, this does mean that very occasionally the hills look entirely like Skyrim, so I suppose as long as it isn't too heavy rain I do like it.

Yes, yes you are the only one.

Will you people PLEASE stop with this?! It's an expression. It's not meant to be taken literally for christs sake. Stop being douchebags about it.

OT: I love rain. Or rather, I love seeing rain. It's a bit like snow. I enjoy the sight of it, and in light doses of it I can even stand with it when I'm outside. But when it's full on attacking me from the sky, then it's a bit much.

Well where I live we don't get too much of it and if we do it's accompanied by a hurricane and those aren't very fun... and if we get regular storm clouds the showers last for like 10 minutes or something pathetic. In texas we get two seasons. HOT and MORE HOT

I like rainy days, especially going for a walk with a big golf umbrella, it's a nice sound, the sound of rain on an umbrella... also watching other people stare enviously at me, when otherwise they call me a fag because of my use of an umbrella... Also it's a nice quiet walk outside at night while it's raining heavily, soothing sound, no people around, good for contemplation of life and the things in it.

I live in SoCal, where it's gorgeous 95% of the year.
The few days where it's cloudy or raining bring a totally rare kind of beauty I totally appreciate, especially after a rain, when the canyon plants all rapidly turn green and spring yellow mustard flowers.

Love this fucking town.
